| Researchers
found that fish consumption is associated with decreased heart
rate in men, which may explain why eating fish decreases the
risk of sudden death.
Men who ate fish had a significantly lower heart rat than
men who did not eat fish, according to the study. Higher heart
rates are associated with an increased risk of sudden death,
so therefore the men who ate fish likely had a lower risk
of sudden death.
