The latest in nanotechnology: researchers have developed a device that draws power from human blood glucose and generates enough electricity to illuminate a light bulb (about 100 watts).
The device, called the "bio-nano" generator, imitates the way the body generates energy from food. The generator could ultimately be used to run devices inside the human body, or so-called "sugar-fed robots."
