The logo of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry appeared
on advertisements for a new type of bottled water, "Fluoride
to Go," which is marketed by Coca-Cola and food giant, Danone.
Critics are pointing out a potential conflict of interests, saying
that the logo could be seen as an endorsement for any of Coca-Cola’s
products, including cavity-causing sodas. The Academy stated that
they do not endorse the water, and Coca-Cola said that the logo
does not "imply endorsement."
