At the Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas, held early
in 2004, Intel plans to announce their new technology plan,
which could save consumers a substantial amount of money when
it comes to purchasing a TV.
Intel is said to announce an improved quality of 50-inch
digital television screens that are seven inches thick, which
will sell for about $1,000, maybe as early as the 2004 holiday
season.
In 2003, consumers paid anywhere from $3,000 to $10,000 for
these types of television sets. This will be an enormous price
reduction.
