While high-definition television remains at the introductory stages of its popularity, researchers have already put forth plans for its successor called Ultra High Definition Video (UHDV).

Marketers of UHDV are targeting museums, hospitals, shopping malls and other types of places where strong attention to detail would be needed and appreciated. Currently there are 15 million to 18 million HDTV sets in the United States with sales that have been growing at a modest pace.

Many of you know that along with health, I also have a passion for technology. Its amazing that plans are already in the works for a television that will be superior to the sound and quality of HDTV.
Now it looks like the petabyte drive that I talked about last year won't be big enough.
The features of this Ultra High Definition television sound exciting and will likely catch on as long as they can find a market for the enormous size and realistic resolution.
