Why are You Paying for Other People's Sex Drugs?

Cialis

More and more signs are pointing to the reality that the conventional health care system may be going mad.

A prime example: A Congressional estimate determined the U.S. government will pay nearly $2 billion over the next 10 years for impotence drugs for elderly and disabled patients under Medicare -- the federal health insurance program that covers 43 million elderly and disabled Americans.

But that's not all ...

The Bush administration has projected the total cost of covering prescription drugs over the next decade at a whoppin' $724 billion -- nearly double the original projection.

Opposing Opinions

According to an Iowa Republican who has written legislation to outlaw Medicare coverage for "recreational sex drugs," the system is already being tapped out and taxpayers shouldn't be responsible to pay for drugs that aren't medically necessary. However, Medicare is required by law to pay for "medically necessary" drugs prescribed by a doctor -- including impotence drugs.

The president of the National Taxpayers Unions also argued that, while footing the bill for impotence drugs is a relatively minor expense, it's doubtful the Founding Fathers envisioned paying for the sex lives of senior citizens.

Gary Craig's Comment:

Impotence drugs are not always necessary. Sure, as the years go by, our bodies slow down sexually but AGE IS NOT THE ONLY POSSIBLE CAUSE HERE. Sexual arousal requires emotional involvement and thus our emotional health must be considered part of the impotence equation. Consider these possible male beliefs and their effect on sexual performance.

"Women are interested in my money and are thus a threat to me"

"I'm not a man if I don't perform at 110 percent."

"Women tend to laugh at me in secret."

These, and countless other beliefs, are addressable by EFT. Once resolved, they should no longer hinder sexual performance.

Readers without an EFT background can receive an orientation by going to EFT Newcomers Info or by getting the free EFT Get Started Package, including a free download of the 79-page EFT Manual (it includes all the basics).
