An All-Purpose Healing Method Provides Remarkable Benefits

Bendingby CJ Puotinen

Raul Vergini, MD, suffered gastric reflux symptoms whenever he assumed some of the classic "hernia" positions, such as bending forward to tie his shoelaces or lying on his back after eating. He was treated by an osteopath for this condition, without results.

Then he learned about EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), an all-purpose, do-it-yourself procedure that often alleviates symptoms. As unlikely as it sounds, relief can come from tapping with the fingertips on key acupuncture points, most of them on the face and torso, while focusing on physical symptoms.

The entire procedure usually takes a minute or less.

The reason it is all-purpose, and applies to almost every known physical ailment, is because it addresses causes that are traditionally underemphasized by the medical profession. These causes involve the disrupted flow of energy within the Chinese meridian system ... AND ... unresolved emotional issues such as anger, fear and trauma.

"I am just a newbie (I'm studying the manual and videos right now)," Dr. Vergini reported, "but I wanted to try EFT on myself. I did just two rounds of the basic procedure while I focused on this annoying gastric reflux -- and it worked! I noticed a definite improvement, and now I'm definitely less prone to feeling the reflux.

"Even if I try to create it, by bending or lying down, it has almost completely disappeared."

A month later, he wrote in an update, "I did only two more rounds of EFT after that first time, and that was one evening a couple of weeks later for a slight return of symptoms. Since then I am still free of all symptoms without any further use of EFT."

In addition to eliminating physical symptoms such as these, EFT has been a consistently effective healing tool for hundreds of other physical, mental and emotional ailments. For more information, you can explore the EFT Web site and its numerous success stories regarding fears, phobias, emotional traumas and physical ailments.

I can't seem to find any information on the hiatal hernia discomfort of intense pressure in the chest which mimicks a heart attack. I have this condition an it often wakes my up at night.

I have had the hiatal hernai for 26 years and have tried every G.I. drug known to man but the pressure did not abate.. I need some strategies on how to deal with the displacement of the stomach into the chest cavity.  I have a very healthy lifestyle but I get these "spasms" at least once a week.  I had a very comprehensive medical workup done in 1004 by an Internal Medicine specialist.  When he couldn't figure it out-he said it was irritable bowl syndrome.  But that was not true as the pain was in my chest cavity-nowhere else. So, if you could suggest some ideas to prevent and then when needed, deal with these episodes which are always related to food or drugs that "turn off the power

Thanks

hi marilyn,

i haven't been diagnosed with a hiatal hernia but i feel like i have one. i have chest pain and also chest tightness too, especially after i drink a lot of water or liquid.  also i have a knotty feeling, pain, and bloating just below my breastbone. i found a really good article which has some natural ways of relieving the symptoms and possibly fixing a hernia.  www.joyfullivingservices.com/hiatalhernia.html

you can try to adjust it yourself but there are also chiropractors who adjust hiatal hernias.  i spoke to one yesterday, and if the self adjustment techniques don't work for me i might go see him.  also i am going to try acupressure.  which i guess is like EFT.  good luck.
