Properly Adjusting Your Car Mirrors
Posted by: Dr. Mercola
July 20 2006 | 804 views

Since many of you reading this newsletter spend a good part of your day commuting from your home to the office, I came across this interesting Web page that shows you how to get around more safely by adjusting your car's rear-view and side mirrors to their optimal positions.

The concept behind using your mirrors properly is so simple: Don't duplicate the view from one mirror to the other. The trick is to set up your mirrors so that once a car disappears from your rear-view mirror, it appears in one of your side mirrors.

The link below offers a detailed explanation with images on how to maximize your line of sight. This advice is so simple and invaluable, I hope automakers and driver education instructors will get wiser and include instructions like these in driving manuals.

Imagine how much this tip alone will save you on future insurance premiums ...
