Even Legitimate Photos Can be Optical Illusions!

Illusion

Since photography is one of my favorite hobbies, I thought you'd enjoy this interesting quartet of images taken by Hans van de Vorst at the Grand Canyon. They're of a fellow photographer making a seemingly death-defying jump from one outcropping to another and wearing only sandals on his feet.

Fact is, this image is a natural illusion hiding in plain sight, based on the mind's tendency to "fill in the blanks." Think about the reasons why the climber may not be in danger, then hit the link below to find out if you're right.
