Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) raised $5.1 million in the latest fund-raising quarter, surprising much of the political world, and perhaps even himself, with his success.Paul’s supporters, who maintain a notable Internet presence, are drawn to his message of “limited government and following the Constitution” -- and they’ve been coming out in full force to help give Paul a real chance in the upcoming presidential elections.I’m compelled to share Paul’s views with you because, more so than any other candidate, Paul supports health freedom in the United States.Earlier this year, for instance, Paul introduced a bill (The Health Freedom Protection Act) that would strongly and positively affect Mercola.com and many other natural health organizations and advocates, along with the field of natural health in general.I believe that his ideas have the power to prompt real positive change in the U.S. health care arena. If you want to hear more from Ron Paul, and see if his ideas resonate with you, check out RonPaulaudio.com.

RON PAUL - A NEW HOPE
A video that will give you chilly bumps because you'll feel so good to think there is at least one upstanding person running for president. Bill Maher actually gives this man the creditical of being our next president in officeon the video!!!!..........WATCH IT!
Say, KBileen, I strongly suggest that you don't move to Canada. I am a Canadian living in America now. Canada sucks. You think taxes are bad here? Go to Canada, where over 50% of your wages to the government coffers.
Canada a hotbed of socialist control.
America's not much better. It has gotten much worse under GWB, but still a slight bit better because of the second amendment, unless they get rid of the Constitution.
That could happen at any time now that GWB has self-proclaimed himself a dictator.
Go for it Ron Paul! I would love to vote if it actually meant something. The electronic voting machies have two way modems in them. Regardless, anything can happen to your vote when you leave the booth. How do you know it goes to who you picked? Good luck America. No, in fact you need God!
Ron Paul has one of the worst environmental records of the candidates. He even approves of drilling in the Alaskan refuge. He has his good points, but in this day and age, his environmental ideas need to be more supportive of environmental goals.
to lolotusi:
Health freedom, environment, government that controls your every move, environment... I'd take health freedom and personal freedoms over a tree any day!
In response to Genteel, I am truly sorry you have such bitter resentment towards Canada. "Canada a hotbed of socialist control."????
socialism |'so sh ??liz?m| noun- a political and economic theory of social organization that advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole.
I would rather be a part of this instead of being owned by your new Master, namely the Corporate Bush Regime who blows away almost $3000 per second in a silly spectacle across the sea.
Have a pleasant day!
ISN'T THIS JUST WONDERFUL NEWS! RON PAUL is making headlines!
This man is the man we've been looking for - one with integrity, no nasty baggage, a true sense of justice as government by the constitution and the only reason I am changing from an Independent to a Republican. I want vote in the primaries for this remarkable man!
I didn't realize until Ron Paul that a "true" Republican searches for peaceful answers and looks to resolve conflicts through conversation and trade..... but the reasoning is right on board for the future we need set before us.
A new coarse of action and new look at the constitution and a man who's voting record is the most impressive one I've ever seen.........
Thanks Limelemon for posting that link with the list of deadlines, etc. I wonder if there's another site I can go to, to verify that my state (Texas) has open primaries. I'd LOVE not to have to re-register (although I'd do it in a heartbeat if I had to, for Ron Paul!).
Ron Paul will be forced to quit like Ross Perot was forced to quit
Well, Rupert Murdoch (owner of Fox News) also owns MySpace, so I'm not surprised. He has selected Giuliani to be the nominee and is making sure Ron Paul is ignored, attacked, or censored at every opportunity.
You could be right if Murdoch is involved, but so far, there has been no censorship of my profile with three RP videos embedded, or my messages:

dmspilot00,
Actually you are wrong. He has not chosen Giuliani to be the nominee. He has donated the maximum to the Hillary Clinton campaign. That is who "they" want in office next. Ron Paul is giving them a hard time because he is a REAL candidate.
I wanted to clarify that I suppose he might want Giuliani as the nominee, but he really wants Hillary in the White House.
*cringe*

That's great! I love the V for Vendetta tie-in! :-D
Please support Ron Paul for President. He is the greatest advocate for health freedom and defender of individual liberties in the US Congress.
Please read “Gold and Economic Freedom” by Alan Greenspan (1966). www.lewrockwell.com/.../north204.html This article explains how the federal government is stealing from you through an inflation tax. This is why Ron Paul wants to shrink the size and scope of the Federal Government and return to a Gold Standard to back our currency. “Gold and Economic Freedom” was written before Greenspan became the chairman of the Federal Reserve. It was written in 1966 before Greenspan betrayed the public (& in my opinion his own conscience) as the chairman of the Fed by drastically increasing the supply of money thus confiscating the wealth of the citizenry through inflation.(inflation tax) “The financial policy of the welfare state requires that there be no way for the owners of wealth to protect themselves. This is the shabby secret of the welfare statists' tirades against gold. Deficit spending is simply a scheme for the confiscation of wealth. Gold stands in the way of this insidious process. It stands as a protector of property rights. If one grasps this, one has no difficulty in understanding the statists' antagonism toward the gold standard.”
Bravo! But remember the last president to call for a return to the gold standard was Ronnie the Raygun. He later went on to spend us into more debt than any president in history. Now second only to Bush.
