U.S. Presidential Candidate Most in Favor of Raw Milk

U.S. presidential candidate Ron Paul (R-Texas) has introduced legislation (HR 4077) that would allow the transportation and sale of raw milk and raw milk products. His bill would remove an unconstitutional restraint on farmers who wish to sell these products, and people who wish to consume them.

Ron Paul took this action after he heard from many people who would like to purchase unpasteurized milk -- people who had done their own research and come to the conclusion that unpasteurized milk is healthier than pasteurized milk.

“These Americans have the right to consume these products without having the federal government second-guess their judgment about what products best promote health,” Paul said.

“I urge my colleagues to join me in promoting consumers’ rights, the original intent of the Constitution, and federalism by cosponsoring my legislation to allow the interstate sale of unpasteurized milk and milk products,” he continued.

Dr. MercolaDr. Mercola's Comments:
Ron Paul is committed to making positive changes in the health-care arena, and this move to legalize the sale of raw milk proves that.

Raw milk is truly a health-promoting food, but the way the laws are currently configured, many Americans are forced to break the law to obtain it.

As Ron Paul stated, most of you who drink raw milk are doing so because you have done the research, or experienced the benefits first-hand. The federal government really has no place telling you what is healthy for you and your family.

Ironically, the same government that allows trans fats, fast food and corn syrup to proliferate the market thinks that you need to be “protected” from the valuable nutrients in raw milk. If you follow the money trail, you will indeed find out the very precise reason why this is.

If this legislation is passed, it would make obtaining healthy raw milk so much easier for many of you, and I applaud Ron Paul for introducing it.

In case you aren’t familiar with some of Paul’s other health-related opinions, he believes in:
  • Expanding the ability of Americans to use alternative medicine and new treatments.
  • Opposing legislation that increases the FDA‘s legal powers.
  • The notion that the government should never have the power to require immunizations or vaccinations.
More so than any other presidential candidate, Ron Paul is trying to improve the fatally flawed health paradigm in time to benefit you and your children.

So What Can YOU Do?

If you agree with Ron Paul’s message of health freedom and liberty then JOIN THE CAUSE!

I have never donated to any politician in my life. However, I am going to break that pattern now by contributing to the next Ron Paul drive on December 16. If you are considering donating to Ron Paul, do NOT do it until that time.

You see it is NOT directly about the money. He is only going to use the money to gather media attention -- and by collecting so much money he has gathered millions of dollars of media attention that he could never afford to buy. This helped spread his message of freedom and liberty, which are both currently at risk in the United States.

If you can’t afford to donate, that is no problem. What you CAN do is SPREAD the word.

Search my site for previous Ron Paul videos and send them to ALL of your friends and relatives, and encourage them to sign up for the December 16 campaign.

There are 1.3 million people that receive this newsletter. We CAN make a HUGE difference. If only a small fraction of you spread this message in YOUR networks and communities just imagine what we can do.

So drive everyone you know and have them join the Ron Paul Boston Tea Party Campaign on December 16. This date is in celebration of the 234th anniversary of the Boston Tea Party in which the founding fathers of the United States made a difference that ultimately freed them from the largest military force on the planet at that time.

Also, if you want to show your support for Ron Paul in your neighborhood, get a yard sign.

If you saw the amazing water buffalo video you can start to realize that if we all unite together we really do have a chance to overthrow the lions that are trying to eat us alive.

If you're interested in keeping health freedom, or any other freedoms that we are little by little losing, vote for Ron Paul in your state's upcoming primary. Like Dr. Mercola said, another money bomb on Dec. 16 will force the mainstream media to give him the exposure he needs! His campaign is going through a huge momentum growth as more and more people are finding out about him. To see how popular he is around the rest of the world, whose people are fortunate enough to have had more exposure to him than we are in the U.S, go to

www.whowouldtheworldelect.com

It takes 3 seconds to vote for the candidate of your choice, then it will take you to a page that shows you who the people in every civilized country would vote for, if they could. The proof is there--if the world could vote in the US election, it's a LANDSLIDE! THE WORLD WOULD VOTE FOR RON PAUL!

Thank you for the link!  It looks like it'd be a landslide if only the Americans could vote in the US election!

Way to go Mercola!  Nice to see someone with the courage to speak his convictions even if it might "offend" some and even lose business.  You are indeed a man of principle.

Meetup.com - IS AMAZING.  Ron Paul groups have formed in 29 countries, yes countries.  Find out what the enthusiasm is all about. He has almost 14,000 groups that started spontaneously.  Find a local Ron Paul group and get involved.  Every bit helps.  It is easy to complain about all of our problems since traditional democrats and republicans have sold out the working people a long time ago.

But we finally have a chance to effect positive change.  Don't let this moment in history pass you by, we are losing our freedoms and may never have such an honest man like Ron Paul.

I don't agree with him on everything, but far far more than any other of the other people.

Google or ask.com to learn more about Ron Paul.

YouTube has plenty of his videos.

If you value your health freedoms now is the time to act.

Turn off the TV – Get active Get involved, you’ll be glad you did.

Dr. Ron Paul cured my apathy

Ron Paul is indeed the last hope for this country.  We are on a slippery slope of decline.   Our money is being devalued, our country more and more in debt, our freedoms lost.   Politicians are more interested in getting reelected than doing the right thing (with a few exceptions).

As a home schooler, non vaccinator, raw milk drinker, organic food advocate, and many many issues, Ron is the ONLY candidate.

Hillary scares the %^&*@# out of me.  When I read what she says and what she is planning to do, I get IBS...:) (nice way to put it).

I dont think Mitt has a spine, Guiliani is a puppet, Mike Huckabee is a decent guy, but does not fullly think for himself.  McCain scares me more and more.

Read Ron Paul on the issues on his website. www.RonPaul2008.com

There are no other possible candidates in my opinion.

GO Ron Paul!

It appears that Huckabee has a truth telling problem, start looking at current reports on his 'ethical' issues.  Plus he says he's pro-life but is also pro-death penalty.  Can a person be pro-'some'life and not others?

He scares me.

deedles: "...he says he's pro-life but is also pro-death penalty.  Can a person be pro-'some'life and not others?"

"Pro-life" is opposed to killing the innocent - abortion & euthanasia.

"Pro-death penalty" is in favor of killing the guilty (of committing murder, such as abortion & euthanasia) as a punishment of the guilty and a deterrent to others.

Raw Milk is terrific.

Only 2 states (CA & CT) allow sale of raw milk in stores.   Others states allow a limnit such as 25 quarts per day sold at the farm.

Commercial Milk is DEAD !   Heating to 118 deg F kills all natural enzymes which aid the calf- and you in  digesting the milk.   Worse still is low and non-fat milk and dairy products.

Anything less than 2% fat milk- (whole milk is 4% and much raw whole milk can be 6-7 or 8% fat). and the calcium is not absorbed.   All the women in America who drink skim and 1% milk to build bones and stave off Osteporosis - skipping the fat to stay slimmer - are NOT absorbing any calcium.    What a waste.

Commercial milk can be over 2 weeks old by the time you buy it in the supermarket.   If the supply is high and commercial milk is not sold- it is often sent back and re-pasteurized again to kill any bacteria & returned to the stores.   The definition of Pasteurization is:    DEAD-  nothing is alive in the milk.

Enzymes in ALL foods are alive and help in digestion.    You are consuming a cooked food when you drink commercial milk.

We should all be consuming much more raw food;   raw vegetables, nuts, seeds, fruit.

All foods that are cooked- have no live enzymes-  therefore, you and your pancreas must produce the enzymes to digest the cooked food.

Children, Elderly and those with compromised immune systems should avoid or be cautious w/ Raw Milk products.

Dairies that produce and sell Raw Milk products test daily and even pasteurized products have milk samples held for weeks which can be tested if any suspicious illnesses occur.

Yes, no other animals continue with mother's milk / or other animals milk after infancy, but there is excellent nutrition in natural- unadulterated raw milk products.

Raw Butter is even better- containing a health promoting substance called Ferritin.

I'm dismayed at the people who refuse to look at Ron Paul simply because he is republican.  His views are radically different than the other republican candidates who are merely "Bush-lite".

The two party political system is part of the problem in America and only divides us into groups.  But, Ron Paul's message is universal and of benefit to all American citizens who value individual freedom over government tyranny and authoritarian power.

It is a matter of choice.  Do you want to make choices for yourself or do you want your government to make them for you?  Partisanship aside, the 2008 election will largly determine the answer to this question.  Do you want Big Government (which includes Big Spending, Big Taxes, and Big Brother intrusion in our lives) or do you believe you are worthy and capable of making your own decisions and choices in life?  This, my friends, is the true meaning of "freedom" and not some cheap slogan used to sell wars.  Ron Paul is a candidate who can change the course of history.  This is why his campaign is called a Revolution.  Please put your partisanship aside and take a heartfelt look at Ron Paul.  Instead of being divided into groups, we should unite as Americans!

I was brought up on a farm in Pennsylvania, and I have found a place where I can get raw milk.  But there is some talk about it, so we need Ron Paul to get things they way they should be.   Freedom.  Free to drink raw milk, free to do what we want.  Free to live are lives drinking raw milk.

.

I am so excited about Ron Paul and what he wants to do for the people I could shout.  I have donated toward the blimp.

So if we al help out we will have Ron Paul as our president.

Go Ron Paul

Please don't wait until the 16th to donate to the Ron Paul campaign!! The money is needed right now to advertise and campaign in the early primary states...waiting three weeks means the campaign won't get the money until too late.  And winning New Hampshire would be worth a hundred times the media exposure of any record-breaking fundraising day!

For those who 'dis' Ron Paul.

You simply do not know enough to make a sound judgement.Read his record. It speaks for itself. No Lobby money from PigBusiness or Pig Pharma ever. They call him Dr.NO.

A man of principles, of actual moral fiber, and NOT A LAWYER/LIAR

He is one in a million!
