Since October 2007, Ron Paul has raised more than $18.5 million -- more than any other Republican candidate.

Where Does Ron Paul Stand on Health Issues?
Ron Paul is one of the few physicians serving in Congress, and one of even fewer Congressmen who are trying to decrease government involvement in the field of health care.
He is a constituionalist and seeks to minimize abuse by government, so needless to say he is not very powerful in many corporate circles. However there is an absolute groundswell of public support for him, especially for people who believe in freedom and the principles the US was founded on.
If given the chance to lead the country as President, Dr. Ron Paul would have even more opportunities to introduce positive, and much-needed, change in the health-care arena. In terms of your health, Ron Paul:
- Wants to expand the ability of Americans to use alternative medicine and new treatments.
- Opposes legislation that increases the FDA‘s legal powers.
- Believes the government should never have the power to require immunizations or vaccinations.
- Introduced the Health Freedom Protection Act that would curb restrictions imposed by the FDA and FTC regarding health claims for dietary supplements.
