Change the world, indeed! Gandhi was the racist pointman who helped amalgamate India in readiness for UN (UNelected) global governance.
Gandhi was all for “purity of type”. Think -- eugenics, total DNA databases, mandatory vaccinations... hmm...
The Myth of Mahatma Gandhi
Laughter the best medicine? An old article about the bulge in Gandhi's loin cloth and his subsequent demise:
Absolutely! BE it, don't dream it.
I've been a fan of Mohandas Ghandi ever since I learned about him and his teachings. However, I'd like to point out that he himself didn't want the title 'Mahatma' (which means great spirit or great soul). Probably because of his humility. We all have something to learn from him.
Perhaps the main article should be given in full.
Quote PART ONE:
GANDHI WAS LOYAL TO IMPERIALISM
By Velu Annamalai, Ph.D.
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. might have heard the word of non-violence from Gandhi, but it is certain that Dr. King did not know the true colors of Mr. Gandhi.
From the beginning to the end, M.K. Gandhi was loyal to imperialism. The Western news media and their Indian allies by a massive propaganda exercise created the illusion of sainthood around Gandhi and made people believe that he fought Apartheid in South Africa, and in the process of doing so developed a new method of non-violent struggle called satyagraha.
Nothing is farther from the truth. Gandhi, for the major part of his life, worshipped British imperialism and too often proudly proclaimed himself a lover of the Empire. He was Kipling's Gunga Din in flesh and blood.
To understand Gandhi's politics in South Africa, it is essential to note the three fundamental trends which all along persisted underneath all his activities. They were:
(1) his loyalty to the British Empire,
(2) his apathy with regard to the Indian "lower castes", India's indigenous population, and
(3) his virulent anti-African racism.
Gandhi was once thrown out of a train compartment which was reserved exclusively for the Whites. It was not that Gandhi was fighting on behalf of the local Africans that he broke the rule in getting into a Whites' compartment. No! that was not the reason. Gandhi was so furious that he and his merchant caste Indians (Banias) were treated on par with the local Africans. This is the real reason for his fighting race discrimination in South Africa, and he had absolutely no concern about the pitiable way the Africans were treated by the Whites.
On June 2, 1906 he commented in the Indian Opinion that "Thanks to the Court's decision, only clean Indians (meaning upper caste Hindu Indians) or colored people other than Kaffirs, can now travel in the trains."
Quote, PART TWO:
During the `Kaffir Wars' in South Africa he was a regular Gunga Din, who volunteered to organize a brigade of Indians to put down the Zulu uprising and was decorated himself for valor under fire.
Gandhi said on September 26, 1896 about the African people:
"Ours is one continued struggle sought to be inflicted upon us by the Europeans, who desire to degrade us to the level of the raw Kaffir, whose occupation is hunting and whose sole ambition is to collect a certain number of cattle to buy a wife, and then pass his life in indolence and nakedness."
Again in an editorial on the Natal Municipal Corporation Bill, in the Indian Opinion of March 18, 1905, Gandhi wrote: "Clause 200 makes provision for registration of persons belonging to uncivilized races (meaning the local Africans), resident and employed within the Borough. One can understand the necessity of registration of Kaffirs who will not work, but why should registration be required for indentured Indians...?" Again on September 9, 1905, Gandhi wrote about the local Africans as: "in the majority of cases it compels the native to work for at least a few days a year" (meaning that the locals are lazy).
Nothing could be farther from the truth that Gandhi fought against Apartheid, which many propagandists in later years wanted people to believe. He was all in favor of continuation of White domination and the oppression of Blacks in South Africa.
In the Indian Opinion of March 25, 1905, Gandhi wrote on a Bill regulating firearms: "In the instance of firearms, the Asiatic has been most improperly bracketed with the natives. The British Indian does not need any such restrictions as are imposed by the Bill on the natives regarding the carrying of fire-arms. The prominent race can remain so by preventing the native from arming himself. Is there the slightest vestige of justification for so preventing the British Indians?"
Quote, PART THREE:
Gandhi always advised Indians not to align with other political groups in either colored or African communities. He was strongly opposed to the commingling of races. In the Indian Opinion of September 4, 1904, Gandhi wrote: "Under my suggestion, the Town Council (of Johannesburg) must withdraw the Kaffirs from the Location. About this mixing of the Kaffirs with the Indians, I must confess I feel most strongly. It think it is very unfair to the Indian population, and it is an undue tax on even the proverbial patience of my countrymen."
In the Indian Opinion of September 24, 1903, Gandhi said: "We believe as much in the purity of races as we think they (the Whites) do...by advocating the purity of all races."
Again on December 24, 1903, in the Indian Opinion Gandhi stated that: "so far as British Indians are concerned, such a thing is particularly unknown. If there is one thing which the Indian cherishes more than any other, it is purity of type."
When he was fighting on behalf of Indians, he was not fighting for all the Indians, but only for his rich merchant class upper caste Hindus!
In the Anglo-Boer War of 1899, Gandhi, in spite of his own belief that truth was on the side of the Boers, formed an ambulance unit in support of the British forces. He was very earnest about taking up arms and laying down his life for his beloved Queen. He led his men on to the battlefield and received a War Medal.
Gandhi joined in the orgy of Zulu slaughter when the Bambata Rebellion broke out. One needs to read the entire history of Bambata Rebellion to place Gandhi's nazi war crimes in its proper perspective.
My personal mission statement is as follows...
Don’t let a day go to waste – everyday presents opportunities to learn and I was born to seize them. Be studious and industrious.
Love myself – treat my body like a rare gift: give it exercise and nourish it everyday. Challenge my mind. Behave in ways that honor my spirit by acting from a place of truth, open-minded curiosity and kindness.
Recognize everyone possesses this gift of body and spirit and respect others as deeply as I do myself.
Tread lightly. Do no harm. Leave the tiny sliver of world that surrounds me slightly better today than it was yesterday.
So much of what CHRIST taught has been totally ignored the past 2000 years--- especially the TOUGH STUFF --- I E --- his life was an example of total loyalty and love for the FATHER --- total OBEDIENCE to the FATHERS WILL ---- and so HE taught that we should be OBEDIENT TO THE GREAT COMMANDENT --- in fact --- HE even recites it --- not once --- but twice for us --- and HE taught us to ask the FATHER for good things ( spiritual -- not worldly things ) --- and to SEEK THE KIGDOM OF GOD FIRST --- which HE taught in many ways that it lies WITHIN US ---- not in any church building or temple ------ and perhaps --- toughest of all HE said we must HUMBLE OURSELVES and PUT OUR TOTAL AND COMPLETE TRUST IN GOD ----like a SMALL CHILD ----- and if we SINCERELY WANTED all the blessings HE promised us --- even while we are here ---- THEY WERE OURS FOR THE ASKING
but you see WE HAVE TOO MUCH PRIDE to seek humility ---- and the world BRAINWASHES US DAY AFTER DAY --- to TRUST IN OURSELVES ---- not GOD ---- and if you want to absolutely TERRIFY AND OFFEND a typical american who claims to be a CHRISTIAN ---- just mention the word OBEDIENCE
but you see ---- all of the things I mentioned above lead to the NARROW PATH that CHRIST taught ----- and knowing our selfish hearts --- HE lamented that so very few would FIND IT
and because so very few have been obedient to HIS teachings --- CHRISTIANITY has failed miserably to LIVE UP TO ITS FULL POTENTIAL ----- May the PEACE and JOY that CHRIST still offers to ALL ---- be and abide with you --------------------------- PEACE chubby
First thing...stop shouting about this stuff. Just a suggestion: Be peace, don't shout about it.
There were also other great teachers of that spiritual message and I agree the point is largely missed in the worlds religions. I would like to add my conclusion to that, what I have taken from religion. Start with yourself, worry about your own self, then when your inner being is in the presence of God and in the present, then you can really impact the world and help bring change. Ghandi was there, but almost all men aren't, which is why religion is still primarily an establishment of the collective ego.
Thanks so much for this, chubby! Great words and we all could use some "heeding of them"! Thanks again! Ruth
Praise God!!! I pray that the Lord blesses you abundantly. Thank you for getting the word out and being bold about it. Also, we can't help but shout about the good news, because 'the joy of the Lord is our strength'!!... It is for whosoever believes. Thanks again Chubby.
Ummmm, I don't think this is a religious forum. Perhaps you'd be more comfortable at another discussion group.
This should frost some agates: After reading these posts and from past experience it seems to me that what Christians fear most is being wrong about their belief system. There appears to be a bit of anger and self-righteousness in their statements. Expressing love for others, not so much. I believe that Jesus (not Christ; he was a different person. Do some research) once said: "Every man is my teacher." He taught of peace and love of each other as well. He had a lot of good to say. Kinda like Ghandi. But it doesn't seem he beat down everyone's throat. People were left with a choice. I was raised in a Christian household and have since followed a different path that I find more spiritually refreshing and logical. I take responsibility for my own actions and deal with the consequences as an adult. And I forgive myself as well as others. Another part of this path is tolerance and respect of all religions without telling everyone around me why my choice is the right choice. I have, however, studied many religions and learned from all of them. Funny thing: I can apply the best of each (in my opinion) to my mission statement and never fear burning in Hell. Brightest Blessings.
"...Jesus (christ was a different person..."? christ means the Messiah. Jesus name in Hebrew is Yeshua. You make an outrageous claim and then claim not to judge other religions. Hypocrite.
MAN made religions whether it be Hindu,Muslim,CHRISTIAN,are the root of ALL evil and should be seen as such and avoided like the plague!!!
What a great conversation!
Rajsanand thanks for bringing the truth to light. There is one thing that I don't agree with and am not sure I understood you correctly.
This is, "It is nothing but knowing your own spirit. And it is right you can be forgiven if you sin against yourself." This doesn't sit well with me.
What about EFT are you familiar with this modality? One of the key statements is "Even though I (fill in negative perception), I still deeply and completely love, respect and forgive myself". I think self love, self care and self forgiveness is part of understanding, caring, growing and ultimately knowing oneself. Let me know your thoughts on this. Thanks!
johnalexwood, if you are devout Scientologist it is your choice. If you are one just investigating the site "The Way to Happiness" then I ask you from my heart and soul to look beyond this and realize the truth about Scientology. Please check out www.xenu.net or www.exscientologykids.net plus google Scientology and educate yourself with the many undressing Scientology websites. Go to Youtube and check out the Anonymous campaign that is helping to educate people across the world on the many misconceptions of Scientology.
I come from firsthand experience. I fell into this religion, which is truly a cult. a few years back. I was down and brokenhearted searching for answers. There are grains of truth in this, but one can find these truths and more without the mental, emotional, financial abuse to oneself.
I am not going to take up Dr. Mercola's site discussing this. There are many other sites dedicated to this. Just inform yourself.
Unfortunately THTH, CCHR do not practice what is preached. Be careful and be warned.
If you want to find total Peace within yourself study, "The Course In Miracles." It will change the way you see the world and all those that are connected to you. Also, Oprah is doing a class on-line called, A New Earth that Eckhart Tolle wrote. Both are about how our egos and how our perception of who we are isn't really who we are. We are all connected and are a beautiful perfect soul.
Chubby,
You are right. Because so many have failed to be obedient to Jesus Christ, Christianity today has little in common with Christianity of the first two centuries. Well, at least Western Christianity. They spoke the truth and and knew they may die like their Lord for speaking the truth that Jesus is the Only way to God. In places like China, Indonesia, Iran,Yemen, Sudan, Nigeria, Pakistan, India, etc, Christians are experiencing that when they make a decision to follow Jesus, it could cost them their lives.
Jesus said "I am the way, truth and the life, no man comes to the Father except by me."
True Christians say what Jesus said, and He did warn us that "If they persecuted Me, they will persecute you."
I am proud to say that the real Jesus of the Bible is my hero and most importantly, my Lord and Saviour.
It is a pleasure for this created being to give glory due to the Creator.
Have you ever heard of a pot saying to the potter, "why did you make me this way?"
We (humans) can be so proud, and it is this pride that is our eternal death sentence. Our choice not God's.
Goji...that "fear god" thing stopped me, too. fear is mind-made. "purpose" is explained extremely well in eckhart tolle's book "a new earth". talk about changing the world!
rajsanand, couldn't someone forgive themselves if they "sin" against themselves?
I do agree with you Goji about not fearing God.
I think it was taken from the book "1984"... Yes? What 1984 would be like if the Germans had "won" the war.
I wil seek to live by truth, until all the falsity within me is laid to waste.
I will put others before myself.
I will love my God above all else!!
I will except no injustice towards myself or anyone, or anything else, and will stand up for justice!!
The subconscious mind only recognizes affirmations in the positive. EX: " I shall NOT fear anyone on earth," your subconscious recognizes this as I SHALL FEAR anyone on earth. Luckily some of Gandi's affirmations are in the positive.
So, my dear friends, if you wish to incorporate this wonderful message into your world changing set of affirmations, you'll get better results in the affirmative, positively. Kim

I think the point of the article was very good, and that is to think about our own personal purpose. We can change no one but ourselves -- but what power that truly has in affecting our world.
My mission statement for my life is -- "to bring love and understanding to all that I meet, and to put unconditional love at the center of everything I do."
Blessings,

I think what you're doing here Dr. Mercola is excellent. I've learned many things I wouldn't have been exposed to otherwise. Just recently I started eating Tempeh in place of the Morningstar Farms soy burgers I had been eating for most of my life -- 30 now. I still need to figure out how to prepare it so it tastes good, but not only is it cheaper than the soy burgers but it's healthier! It's got way more protein, fiber, and iron than the soy burgers and way less sodium. And it only has fermented soy beans, water, and rice as ingredients, unlike the laundry list of ingredients of the processed soy burgers. My officemate is from India and when I told her about it she didn't know about it and discovered how healthy it is. Now she's thinking about buying it for her kids.
Just an example of how your information is spreading.
"When I despair, I remember that all through history the way of truth and love has always won. There have been tyrants and murderers and for a time they seem invincible, but in the end, they always fall — think of it, always."
"What difference does it make to the dead, the orphans, and the homeless, whether the mad destruction is wrought under the name of totalitarianism or the holy name of liberty and democracy?"
"An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind."
"There are many causes that I am prepared to die for but no causes that I am prepared to kill for."
“It's the action, not the fruit of the action, that's important . . . You may never know what results come from your action. But if you do nothing, there will be no result.”

Don Miguel Ruiz's "The Four Agreements" do it for me:
#1 BE IMPECCABLE WITH YOUR WORD
Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean. Avoid using your words to speak against yourself or to gossip about others. Use this power of your word in the direction of truth and love.
#2 DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING PERSONALLY
Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality-their own dream or movie. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others you will not be the victim of needless suffering.
#3 DO NOT MAKE ASSUMPTIONS
Find the courage to ask questions and to say what you really want. Communicate with others as clearly as possible to avoid misunderstandings, saddness and drama. With just this one agreement you can completely transform your life.
#4 ALWAYS DO YOUR BEST
Your best is going to change from moment to moment: it will be differnent when you are healthy as opposed to sick. Under any circumstance simply do your best and you will avoid self-judgement, self-abuse and regret.
As others have noted - it really helps me when I make the negative parts of some of these statements postive (remove the "no" and "not" or just choose the sentence in the explanation that fits) so as to make them personal and comfortable.
I have adopted the following five principals developed by Dr. Mikao Usui: Just for today...I will not anger, Just for today...I will do my work honestly, Just for today...I will not worry, Just for today..I will live the attitude of gratitude, Just for today I will show love and respect for everything.
It doesnt matter of the author, it just matters that the focus is peace, and living genuinely!

* I shall not fear anyone on Earth. (Can I fear corporations like Monsanto or the FDA or is that still someone? Do people even run corporations anymore or do corporations run people?)
* I shall fear only God. (To me god is an energy force like lightning or what holds our cells together.)
* I shall not bear ill will toward anyone.
* I shall not submit to injustice from anyone. (I feel like Americans submit to injustice everyday by paying our taxes for genocide, overpriced privatized corporations run by our politicians, and oil profits. There is free energy that exists but scientists are threatened by OUR government and corporations, that WE keep in business, if they even start the machines. You should see the movie Who Killed The Electric Car :( I cried!)
* I shall conquer untruth by truth. And in resisting untruth, I shall put up with all suffering.”
(This is probably the big one! What are the truths of our food, water, and air supply? Should I starve myself and not drink anything until the government gives us our right to have food and water that doesn't cause cancer, diabetes, obesity, ADHD, depression, submissiveness? What are chemtrails? Why can I see them over NYC during the summer? Why does our government deny they exist? What are they putting in the air me and my child breathe?)
Hello,
Just that you know - the chemtrails are in NJ as well . I saww them almost every day during February 2008, and even now in April.........Winter time after heavy sprying I noteced many children got sick in school, even adult around..........

My mission statement is to follow Dr. Mercola's teachings as closely as I can and slowly change the perceptions of my family, who in turn will teach their children, and so on, and so forth. It is my small step in trying to enlighten their minds, make them aware of the deceptions, so they can eventually take control of their own health.
It's possible, that I will leave them something more valuable than money.

Non violence is not a philosophy to be followed. Rather it is a quality that the man/woman who has freed themself from the confines of the ego will express as his/her true nature. Non violence would be a by product of this freedom.
For Ghandi, it was an expedient philosophy but the man himself was still violent. He was a wife beater, a man who took the philosophy of non violence and made it a political force in India ...but poor India to this day. Still violent, still caught up in a degrading caste system etc. and a place few would care to call home if one lived at the level of most of it's inhabitants. Cry for this country but surly Ghandi did not bring about any real change. Scratch a tin god and you will find a disgraced hero. Best to be thoroughly dis -illusioned than to carry on with their burden.
Thank you for this article and the focus on Gandhi.
I would like to clarify that his mission/philosophy was not only his. It was and is based upon 10,000 years of ongoing research in the subtle sciences of enlightenment and health, which is it's by-product. Gandhi was a superb expression of the Vedic culture of Sananta Dharma. in India
He did not stand alone. He stood rooted in the R&D of millions who came before him. He just happens to be well known globally.
If you are interested or inspired by what Gandhi stood for, I encourage you to check out this website for more of the teachings that he aspired to and expressed in his life and for his country:
youtube.com/lifeblissfoundation.
Wow...how can such a nice thought provoking, self reflection inducing post generate so much anti christian sentiments?
How can so many be trained to respond like the main stream media parrots?
If ya don't agree , Ghandi is not putting a gun to your head to make it your mantra......DUH!
Just walk away find another article to read or something...
Live and let live- anyone???
uuuuhhhhhh, gonna get flamed for that one....
My purpose is to give 100% to everything I do so that I can bring honor to my Lord Jesus Christ. I cannot change other people, but I can love them truly and fervently, and work to shower them with the same kind of grace I have received from God.
Jean: You just can't keep making your own laws. There's got to be one set of laws fair for everyone, including you.
Billy Jack: That's fine. When that set of laws is applied to everyone, then I'll turn the other cheek too.
Jean: There's got to be a better way to change those people.
Billy Jack: CHANGE those people? You worked with King, didn't you?
Jean: Yes!
Billy Jack: Where is he?
Jean: Dead.
Billy Jack: And where's Bob and Jack Kennedy?
Billy Jack: Not "dead", their brains blown out! Because YOUR people wouldn't even put the same controls on their guns as they do on their dogs, their bicycles, their cats, and their automobiles.
Art imitating life, getting it right & wrong simultaneously....Mission statement or no, pragmatism prevails, shepherds of light - if such they be - are martyred, & the flocks turn to the new boss (same as the old boss)...i.e., sheep get shorn. The solution is as obvious as it is impossible....
The success of Gandhi's non violent methods (and that of his very apt student, King) was based on opposition to a morally anchored opponent. Ultimately, the British (and Americans) could not reconcile themselves to their own immoral behavior. Face an immoral opponent and you will merely be slaughtered. Know your enemy, pick your battles.
What is this silly chemtrail stuff? Don't these people understand condensation in a supersaturated and disturbed environment? Easier to believe in the boogyman?
I haven't read all the comments, but it should be said that Ghandi derived his non-violent tactics after reading through the New Testament. Ghandi didn't "throw the baby out with the bath water" - maybe he didn't put his trust in Jesus but he understood His teachings and the amazing truth within. SO many attack Christianity and most have a good reason - abuse and people shoving God down their throats - but don't judge Christianity on the idiotic things the followers do but on the Word of God; on the Bible. I have no idea why this is even in here for health but I am glad it is :-) Oh, and Lively, you are very twisted and all that is wrong with our country.
For health related matters, Mercola is the person I look to for his knowledge and integrity (you also have a pretty good sense of humor!)
For personal/spiritual matters there are at least a handful of people that I resonate with on this level.
But if I had to pick only one, it would be the person whose words over the last ten years have most profoundly changed my life.
That would be Eckhart Tolle. There are so many amazing people writing and reading about enlightenment, I feel that we are living in a special time in history, where more and more people are "awakening", and realizing that this earth, and everything on it is a manifestation of the divine, the one consciousness. We are truly all "one". And, that concept spoke to me in such a deep way as I read "A New Earth".
There are some here that seem to take offense at the concept of "Fearing" God. The problem may be a misunderstanding of what "Fear" in proper context actually means.
By "God" I mean the God of the Holy Bible, the ultimate being, the Most High, the Creator, Yaweh, El Elohiym. If you do not align yourself with Him then "Fear" appropriately means to be afraid, in terror, trembling, hiding from, running away from Him screaming with your hair on fire, etc. However, to "Fear" God in the intended sense means to be morally reverent, i.e., recognize and acknowledge the supreme greatness that He is, bow your knee to Him, follow His Way. This is what it means to "Fear" God and it naturally leads to salvation in His Way, that is, His Son Jesus, the Christ.
Gahndi apparently understood this "Fear". Whether or not he recognized the Most High and his Way, the Son, I don't know - perhaps someone else can comment on this.
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."....Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
Gandhi, Scientology etc.... are all people trying to climb up some other way. There is "ONE God", Yahweh. There is ONE WAY to God and that is by the DOOR, that is God who gave Himself for mankind in the flesh, Jesus, Yashua. Gandhi was just a man who tried to climb up some other way.
Right on 'ksamiams'. Clothed in man's sinful nature, Ghandi attempted to point to salvation as do others. And yes, all have sinned, even Ghandi. Jesus doesnt point He said "I am the way"; He is the one who we should fix our eyes upon.
'For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth upon Him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life. I am the way, the truth and the light, No man cometh unto the Father, but by Me. The Kingdom of God is within you'. 'Within you' is very essential.
Only one Man in all of history lived a perfect life AND was risen from the dead. That Man also happened to be God. He was the perfect Sacrifice for us all, atoning for the sins of humanity. (If you haven't yet figured it out, His name is Jesus.) The rest of history is minor details. :-)
Well said, UnusVerum!
My Mission Statement:
My first act each and every day will be to praise my God, my Creator for another new day in which to serve Him.
1) I will do this by choosing to love and see each person I meet as God sees and loves them.
2) I will not seek to please people, but only God, not fearing what others may think.
3) I will speak the truth in love, remembering that there was only one who walked amongst us who was perfect.
4) I will trust in the Lord my God and not rely on my own understanding.
5) I will submit myself to His perfect will for my life.
6) I will put others before myself and will serve them as unto the Lord.
7) I will praise the Lord my God in all circumstances.

If ya'll are Scientologists then fine.
To all others, please educate yourselves.
As I have stated you have been warned.
Let's not take up Mercola's site debating this.
Because I Know that, "I always reap everything I sow," then I Know that, "I am the creator of my own Reality." As Ghandi said, "I have to become the change I want to see."
I Know that the way I Think and behave determines my state of health or illness.
Because I Know I always reap everything I sow, then I Know I am here to create my own version of Heaven on Earth.
This is different from believing that, "We are here to go to school to learn to do as we are told by those in authority, without question! To believe and learn the crap that those in authority want to believe and learn, so we become frightened, gulible, and obedient, consumers, producers and savers, and to work all our lives to make the rich, richer and more powerful, so they can create their own version of heaven on earth, at our expense!
It is amazing how many people believe this is true, because this is what they have done and it is what they expect their and other children to do. Obviously, if they Thought we we here to do something else, they would do something else?
Religions and governments tell us, "We make the world a better place by killing and punishing all the bad people." I Know I change the world for the better by changing the way I Think and behave, for the better.
The word KNOW is short for Karma-now. This means that, "When I am aware of the consequences of my thoughts words and actions as I make them, then I am aware of my Karma-now?" In other words, I Know what will happen in the future, I am just unaware of when.
I also Know that th

Love is the answer!!!
Because we are not perfect and we make mistakes does not discredit the good that we have done on this earth. Our mistakes will be taken in hand after this earth life. At the judgement bar of God is when we will have to answer for our "deeds" that were not appropriate behavior toward our fellowmen.
King David in the Old Testament is a good example of this. He was a wonderful son and brother. He was a great friend to Jonathan and a huge respecter of God's anointed. His faith in God carried him through many an arduous and dangerous path. He built an empire like no other has been seen since. His people revered him. He was a good person. But he made a sexual slip up and that led to a cover up which led to a murder and denial. He had this one bad year in his life compared to the over forty years of good deeds as a king. His deeds are for God to recon with. We cannot overlook the great contributions of great people when it affects so many for the better.
Was David's life a triumph or a tragedy?
Was Gandhi's life a triumph or a tragedy?
Should we ignore their existance because of bad judgement on their part?
Would you want people to do that to you because of your "crimes"?
It is helpful to look to great people and Gandhi certainly was a great human being, but why not look to the very best? In light of this self-sacrificing philosophy, I would like to direct you all to its true originator- Jesus Christ. He lived this philosophy out perfectly- without fault- to the point of laying his own life down- even to suffer and die an unjust and brutal death. He did this to save the world, and through it he has changed billions of lives. He conquered untruth in the world by giving himself, because he is truth.
