Unbelievable Pictures of Whales in Maui

Many of you may know that I live in Maui during the winter, as it is a far healthier option than Chicago. One of the main benefits of doing this is that about 10,000 humpback whales also spend their winters in Maui, and nearly every day you can see them jumping for joy out of the water with their newborn calves. They also do impressive pectoral fin and tail slaps.

I thought you would enjoy some great images of these amazing creatures that a friend of mine (who is a terrific photographer) took while I was there this year.
