Correct on all points!  Now think what happens when Osama Obamma gets placed in office and your guns are immediately confiscated by flaming liberal doo gooders in the interest of 'national security'. Remember those who will not defend freedom do not deserve it and it will be denied them by the forces of socialism.

God is STILL in control of every situation. If Ron Paul or any of the others get elected then it's a part of God's plan for the U.S. and the rest of the world. I know it's a scary thought, but you can't change Gods plan. If the U.S. is meant to go down...it WILL go down IF it is indeed in Gods plan.

Of course the voting systm is manipulated,everyone knows that. This is the very reason I don't vote anymore. THEY will let WIN the election WHO THEY want to win the election. Nobody can do ANYTHING about that. All you can do it pray and pray long and hard for the sanctification of the United States of America!

You are right in many respects, but to give up and say that the voting system is rigged and we can't do anything about it is WRONG!  We need to speak out about that and demand that they return to paper ballots.

Another thing people can do is become a state delegate.  We didn't even know the importance of that until we got involved in the Ron Paul campaign.

God never said that your rights and freedoms, etc would just come to you easily.  He wanted you to be made better by the fight for what is right and what you deserve.  Sounds like you haven't read your bible if you think that it is in his plan for you to be unhappy.  The US, for all it's faults, is still one of the best places on this earth.  I don't think that it would further Gods plan to take it down.

Regarding elections, there is a passage in the book (highly recomended by Ron Paul) "Against Leviathan", by Robert Higgs that (in my words) basically says that we are fooled if we still believe that elections are real and not just a carnival aiming to keep the masses believing they have some say in the government. This is a tremendous book. Ron Pauls comment on the back cover says. "Defenders of liberty need look no further for intellectual ammunition. Theis hard-hitting book exposes the multitude of ways the growth of the welfare-warfare state threatens our freedom and prosperity".

We really have only one choice in this election if we want to keep at least some of our liberties, and that is to vote for Ron Paul...even if we have to write him in.

As far as Ron being assasinated if elected...my guess it'll happen before, if it looks like he has a chance. But if he got into office, he would have a difficult time getting his agenda passed, given all the opposition from both parties. Still, it would be a real signal that all is not lost for the U.S.

Regarding election tampering, the "We the People Congress" has law suits going in most states to do away with voting machines and "back room ballot counting", and get back to what's stated in the Constitution. If you want to support this action, go to givemeliberty.org

Thank you for saying that What Else!! God doesn't work alone... God works through us. My parents are like that and they say things like "well i will just leave my problems to God".... and there they sit watching tv, being fat and spouting insults at everything they see...well to me it sound like they gave up!! We have to fight for  what is right^-^ otherwise we will become mindless robots...

As far as "leaving it up to God" ...get a grip...the bible I have talks about God giving us free will....such a lazy co-out...I don't have to do anything...God will take care of it for me....YOU ARE LAZY and you don't deserve any rights or freedom, you make me sick....He helps those who help themselves and allowing rights and freedoms to be destroyed is the real sin.  The war against  terror is the real sin....the Bush crime family is the real sin......If you are not outraged you are not paying attention!

Don't fear the terrible thought of an assassination too much. Ron Paul is saying "it is not about me, it is about the message". If Ron Paul gets the majority of the people behind him who understand the message and willing to back it up, then an assassination of the good Dr. Paul will yield no success to the current leaders in keeping the power. Of course we all would be much better of when Ron Paul runs the country, but his message "No big government, Freedom Of The People" would stay whatsoever.

I wanted to vote for Ron Paul, but in the primary I got stuck voting for the lesser? evil between the democrats.  

I know a lot of people that either like Ron Paul or have not heard of him.  He really needs more coverage.

I voted in the West Virginia primary today and Dr. Ron Paul was on the ballot, along with Mitt Romeny, Mike Huckabee, and a couple of others.

That's my question.  If so many people like him (as do I) why didn't they VOTE for him in the primaries???  So many people arounf my town were fired up about him, but he got hardly any votes.  I am starting to wonder myself now if the polls are rigged.  

The 19th century European Anarchists were fond of saying "If voting could actually change anything, it would never be permitted." Regardless of the level of his popular support, Ron Paul will not be on the ballot in November. So far, however, we are still "permitted" to vote for a write-in candidate.

We have collectively been lulled into a sense of false complacency by assuming that all of our elections are fair and honest.

Unfortunately, there are now many PROVEN examples of vote rigging and election fraud (Ohio, Florida, etc, etc). Check out www.hackingdemocracy.com and click on their video links for a sobering wake up call. Their movie, HACKING DEMOCRACY is a true classic and well worth viewing by everybody.

WE NEED TO DO EVERYTHING WE CAN to get rid of the hackable voting machines & get back to verifiable paper ballots (while watching the machine counters like a hawk). These changes can only be made by people like you and me AT THE LOCAL LEVEL to insure honest and fair elections. Get involved, get organized and take control of your local voting precincts to effect true, meaningful change.

If our votes aren't honestly counted, nothing else matters as the criminal elements of society will easily implement any policies they wish ...

The reason Ron Paul does not show up as a viable candidate is because he ran as a Republican and as a Republican he needs 1191 delegates to win the party nomination.  McCain has 1,413 delegates to date, and therefore, has unofficially won the Republican party nomination.  Ron Paul would have to run as either a Libertarian, Independent, or other to be considered.
