One thing all of us can do to put more money in our pockets is demand that congress do away with the unconstitutional federal income tax and abolish the Federal Reserve, which is no more "federal" than Federal Express, so that our government can re-gain control of the mints and the printing of our currency. We should also demand an audit of the government's gold reserves, which the Federal Reserve, a private organization, lists on its balance sheet. Once we don't have to pay federal income tax, again, an UNCONSTITUTIONAL tax that should never have existed, we workers will have more money in our pockets, at no cost to our government. Please watch Aaron Russo's documentary, "America: Freedom to Fascism," for more on this subject.

I agree with you. The income tax is unconstitutional, too sad people don't open their eyes and get together to STOP the Federal Government violations' of the Constitution and people's rights.

Please everybody watch : www.youtube.com/watch

God bless us all!

Russo's documentary is a good eye opener, but it's a little bit misleading. The income tax was instituted as a by product of having a bank account. Every bank account application has a clause in the fine print that states that you agree to abide by a section of Title 26 of the US code which binds you to the income tax. Once you have signed this agreement, contract law kicks in and abrogates your constitutional rights. So the matter of whether the tax is constitutional or not (or whether the 16th amendment was properly ratified) is a moot point as long as you have a bank account. See George Mercier's "Invisible Contracts" for more details.

Also, once you are locked into a bank account, there are several intertwining laws that in effect make you a branch of the Federal Reserve system - you are actually a Fed bank under the law. This further binds you to the tax because you are utilizing the private credit of the Fed. However, you can get around this by endorsing your checks like this:

Redeemed in lawful money

pursuant to Title 12 USC ss411

John Henry d.b.a. JOHN H. DOE

x_____________________________

You are still liable to file a tax form as long as you have a bank account, but you can now claim to not have any income in FRNs since you have effectively redeemed your checks in US notes (the same one JFK re-introduced with Executive Order 11110). These are debt free notes directly from the US Treasury rather than the Fed.

Do a web search for "David Merrill lawful money" and you will find much more info on this subject. It's all very interesting and informative.

I can personally vouch for Get Rich Slowly, Wise Bread and the Simple Dollar. I've been reading all three for nearly a year and they are wonderful.

Short of an income tax revolution, the dissolution of the welfare state or the federal government somehow gaining brains and nerve at the same time, I see no improvement in the economy in the near future.

Invest at home. Learn how to sew, knit, cook, garden. Teach your children the skills that saw our grandparents through the Great Depression. Break the dependency on amusement and entertainment.

I think if it gets that bad even your silver and gold would be worthless.  You can't eat it or use it to heat your house.  What people will need is food and fuel and they might not want to trade either for a small amount of metal..

You're right about that...sort of like that scene in Mad Max III: beyond the Thunderdome. It had zero value.

I suspect that with the continuing of the bailout program, things will get worse for years to come...except for the recipients who can buy new $40,000 rugs as one CEO did.

I don't think we'll get to Thunderdome stage, but who is to say.

The idea is to prepare now while there is still time. Stock up on essentials: food, water, fuel for cooking, get some chickens, learn and do canning. There are survival sites, forums, and blogs to get help. Silver and gold might be very useful for bartering after the non-silver dollars become worthless. Actually, being fiat money, there are worthless now, it is only our government which declares their value. Abolishing the Fed & WTO is the only way to get our dollar's value restored and keep inflation at bay. Andrew Jackson abolished the Fed once before. It is time to educate the citizenry on this matter. Most of us have no idea as to how we've been scammed and continue to be. Our taxes go to our Fed to pay interest on the money they've created and forked over to the Treasury as debt. The Bank of England, a private bank, has the same scam going. The Fed is as necessary as are barnacles on ships, fleas on dogs, etc.

Read Cormack McCarthy's "The Road" for more thoughts on what really matters when it comes down to it.

You aint kidding Kelly!

I've been purchasing silver for a while now. Almost 8g's worth. The economy and the dollar are going to hell in a hand bucket! I believe it'll be worthless by the end of the year! Like you said, it's not about making money...it's about having money when the dollar isn't worth the paper it's printed on! Stock up on food too! Vacuum pack brown rice, beans, dried fruit, beans and meat with oxygen absorbers as well as have extra  propane, bullets, and toilet paper on hand just incase there is wide spread panic in the streets!

Live long and win the lottery! PS. Junk silver coins (90% silver) are still a good bargain now. And will be good barter when the sh!t hits the lawn mower, sooner than you think!

Let's all hope and pray that I'm (we're) wrong but why take a chance when the government has turned their back on the constitution and become a printing press!

It seems so, libertyv. We, collectively, need to turn off Fox and other corporate-sponsored news stations, as they limit the "news" to what the corporations want us to hear, and seek alternative news sources. We are being duped in a dangerous way. The presidential oath, to protect and defend our Constitution, has become a joke. We the People need to educate ourselves, and it can't be done by watching Fox News.

Yes libertyvalance, http://drop.io/summerbird is a great place to get information on the disasters the elites are planning for us. As Obama has said there will be a new internet, internet II, we should email this link to everyone we know and ask them to DOWNLOAD each recording to their computer BEFORE THIS LINK IS DELETED. Many good websites get deleted as the one on explaining the 4 elite groups and the 9 monopolies was deleted, so be wise and download everything good you come across.

If you got Dish Network satellite service, you can watch Free Speech TV (FSTV) and Link TV, two channels with the real unvarnished news. Also, on the web, look for www.therealnews.com
