Scientists at MIT are studying color-changing cuttlefish. An understanding of how these fascinating creatures can change color in less than a second could result in electronic ink and cheap TV screens that could use “less than one-hundredth the power of traditional television screens.”
It’s a great example of how we can develop greener products by studying and mimicking biology and nature.
