How to Crack an Egg with One Hand

This one I will have to try!  My 17 year old son has been able to crack an egg one handed for many years. I couldn't figure out how he did it!  I can hardly wait to show him!

I have a hard getting the egg to crack anywhere near the middle. Some usually runs down the outside of the pan and burns to the smooth top stove surface, requiring me to shut off the heat and get out the razor blade real quick to scrape it off! Then there is the matter of shell bits in the egg whites. Plus I always coax the remaining liquid out of each shell half manually. However, I wish life were so easy...

I love cracking two at a time.  I heard about it once and I had to try, it just takes some practice, so don't get discouraged!

I'm off to buy the $.75 cracks from the local egg farm to practice!

This will be a great conversation starter at my next egg cracking party!

Oh!  Haha....  I did not know this was an impressive feat; I have been cracking eggs that way since I was a child.  Interesting.
