All British readers will know, but American readers might be interested to know that this is the "son" of the following (1976) sketch from the BBC's 'Two Ronnies' and voted the funniest comedy sketch of all time on British TV. The hardware store owner (Ronnie Corbett) is the customer in the Blackberry sketch. The customer in the hardware store sketch is Ronnie Barker who sadly died a few years ago:
