Federal health officials are upping the ante in the high stakes chess game that industry, government and medical trade have been playing with the freedom of the American people for a long time.
The whole premise behind ethanol being environmentally friendly is based on carbon neutrality; that is, growing corn to produce fuel is supposed to remove as much carbon dioxide from the environment as burning the fuels creates. New research shows this assumption is flawed and ethanol is not carbon neutral.
The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is tasked with protecting public health, a mission that cannot be completed with the conflicts of interest, corruption and incompetence plaguing the agency.
