A number of researchers have theorized that, in patients with Parkinson disease, dopaminergic cell loss might be due to increased free radical production and an inadequate antioxidant defense system. Researchers found a dose-dependent inverse association between high intake of vitamin E and Parkinson disease that did not appear to be affected by the stage of disease. The Rotterdam team found no protective effect against Parkinson disease associated with flavonoid, vitamin C or beta carotene intake.

Dr. Mercola's Comment:
Most of us would benefit from regular vitamin E supplementation, and Living Fuel Omega & E comes with my highest recommendation. These are pure, very high-quality fish oil capsultes that contain both the omega-3 that is so severely lacking in most people's diets AND the full-spectrum vitamin E that is the form of vitamin E you should be taking -- two exceptional supplements in one.
