In this third and last video of this three part series, Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt explains the fourth and fifth levels of The Five Levels of Healing.

The Five Levels of Healing are based on a healing model developed some 12,000 years ago. It has been the influence for Tibetan medicine, traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), as well as Ayurvedic medicine. At its core, the model simply states that you are not just your physical body. You are also surrounded and penetrated by four other invisible energy bodies.

The fourth level is your intuitive body; it‘s the realm of the shaman, the spiritual, and your metaphysical experiences. Dr. Klinghardt explains how certain diseases stemming from this level -- such as autism, for example -- can be treated and healed.

The fifth level is your individual connection to the divine.

Dr. Mercola's Comments:

Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt is one of my mentors in natural medicine. I interviewed him earlier this year, and this three-part video series is just a tiny portion of our full two-hour discussion on this fascinating topic.

In this video, Dr. Klinghardt explains the Fourth and Fifth Levels of Healing – your Intuitive Body, and your connection to the Divine.

The Fourth Level – Your Intuitive Body

Dr. Klinghardt refers to the fourth level as your Dream Body, or Intuitive Body.

This is also the realm of the shaman; your metaphysical experiences, and the tool Dr. Klinghardt uses to heal on this level is family constellation work.

Family constellation work is based on the observation that trauma and unresolved conflicts that happened in your ancestry does not seem to go away with death, but plays out in a variety of different ways in later generations.

I am fully aware that for many of you, this will be a very difficult concept to wrap your head around.

However, based on Dr. Klinghardts clinical experiences, ancestral trauma often becomes the source of an illness, two, three or even four generations later, unless the conflict is somehow resolved along the way. Naturally, this is NEVER taken into account in conventional medicine, which means you never get at the root of your ailment.

Dr. Klinghardt also uses family constellation work on all autistic children that come into his practice, with surprisingly positive results. He told me, “…the vulnerability that these children have is not only explained based on the vaccine issue, the mercury issue, and the electrosmog exposures, but this also has a base in the family history. And when we resolve issues in the family history, there are often magical improvements in these children.”

The Fifth Level – Your Connection to the Divine

The fifth and final level is your individual connection to God, to the Divine. This level is the most private and personal, and in many ways it’s the most important part of what guides you and makes you tick – it’s who you really are.

It’s also the level where you do your own healing, if you will, rather than receiving help from an outside therapist or physician.

Rooting Out Illness and Dis-Ease

What Dr. Klinghardt teaches is that illness can originate on any of the lower four levels:

  1. Your Physical Body
  2. Your Energy Body
  3. Your Mental Body
  4. Your Intuitive Body

And, whenever you treat your illness on a level other than where it originated, you can’t and won’t treat your illness with any degree of success.

And so, you cannot treat an illness symptomatically, which is exactly what conventional medicine is all about – the treatment and suppression of symptoms with little or no regard for the underlying cause.

What is Conventional Medicine Really About?

Aside from emergency care, where conventional medicine truly excels and saves countless lives and limbs, the conventional disease-care model is little more than a painful and expensive hoax. Those may be strong words, but I don’t know what else to call a system that’s set up to keep you in an indefinite loop of disease / treatment that leads to worsening disease / more treatment / worsening of disease / more invasive treatment / premature death.

When you treat an ailment symptomatically, you become a patient for life. And, you’re making other people infinitely wealthy in the process.

Client retention is VITAL for for-profit companies, and the pharmaceutical industry is the wealthiest for-profit industry in the world. To think they don’t operate according to the same rules of business as any other company with tradable stocks is naïve, if not foolish.

According to the latest Forbes 500 statistics for 2007, the top two pharmaceutical companies, Johnson & Johnson and Pfizer, had revenues of more than $ 53 billion and $ 52 billion respectively. Their combined profits for 2007 exceeded $ 30 billion, and that’s just the top two out of at least a dozen.

The pharmaceutical industry also spends more on lobbying than any other industry. According to the The Center for Responsive Politics, total lobbying spending for pharmaceutical products in 2007 was $114,315,695, and the number of lobbyists outnumbers US Senators 7-1.

That gives a whole new meaning to peer pressure, doesn’t it?

Last but not least, the trend of direct-to-consumer (DTC) marketing of drugs is increasing. According to a Congressional Research Service study of the industry, DTC marketing rose from $791 million in 1996 to $3.2 billion in 2003. It’s not difficult to realize why when you consider this statistic: for every dollar the industry invests in DTC marketing, they achieve $4.20 in sales, according to a Harvard-MIT study.

What is the Medicine of the Future?

I believe the conventional health care model is bound to collapse, eventually. The current version is simply unsustainable. And, thanks to the most potent flaw of mankind – greed – industry manipulation tactics are becoming too obvious. Just listen to the brilliant rants of Bill Maher, Chris Rock, or Tracey Ullman for a slice of the in-your-face-reality that more and more people are becoming fully conscious of.

Yes, the pharmaceutical industry’s marketing and disease-mongering tactics are powerful, but once you become aware of how it’s done, you become far less susceptible to them.

In the end, the only medicine that really can survive is the medicine that has ALREADY survived thousands of years. Your common sense dietary guidelines; your great-grandmother’s home remedies and alternative therapies that in some cases are older than the written word.

Here’s my Top Ten list of basic tenets of optimal health; truths that have survived the tests of time.

  1. Eat a healthy diet that’s right for your nutritional type (paying very careful attention to keeping your insulin levels down)
  2. Drink plenty of clean water
  3. Manage your stress
  4. Exercise
  5. Sunlight
  6. Limit toxin exposure
  7. Consume healthy fat
  8. Eat plenty of raw food
  9. Optimize insulin and leptin levels
  10. Get plenty of sleep
