Locally Grown Produce Makes this Topping the ‘Pièce de Résistance’ of Your Snack Treats!

Here’s a recipe with locally-grown ingredients fresh from the Farmer’s market that you’ll absolutely love!  The aromatic basil leaves really make this dish take off!  Need I say more than, “Yummy scrummy!”?


  • 2 medium-sized, organic tomatoes, diced
  • ½ onion, diced
  • 6 good-sized leaves of fresh basil, chopped
  • Small drizzle of olive oil
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 large, red pepper, cut into 2-inch squares, cracker shape


1- Combine in medium-sized bowl:

  • Tomatoes
  • Onions
  • Basil leaves
  • Drizzle of olive oil
  • Black pepper to taste

2- Scoop the bruschetta onto red pepper squares.

3- Prepare for flavor explosion!

There you have it!  The piece de resistance for me, is the fresh, red pepper “crackers.”  This is really quick and simple, and so delicious.  I know you and your whole family will love it.
