Hi, thank you for taking the time to send me you opinion regarding addictions. I am skeptical regarding the 2.5 per cent "troubled" drinking. Alcoholism is embedded in Western culture, and has been for hundreds of years. A large part of it is behind closed doors. People would stop at a glass of wine now and then if there wasn't an addiction problem. I'd intuit that the percentage is more around 30% and so prevalent a part of our culture, it is "normal."
The US Government reports that only 15 percent of the estimated 23 million Americans addicted to alcohol and drugs actually seek treatment for their addictions. The 2.5% was probably provided by Johnny Walker. :-) or Institutions that benefit from a drugged society.

To clarify, I am not vegan, because I do eat honey....how ever I don't eat meat or dairy products of any kind...which is why I don't eat butter
