Authorities in Malaysia are testing more blood samples from pig farm workers after four people were infected by the deadly Nipah virus.

If you are not convinced yet of the benefits of avoiding pork I would advise reviewing the links below. Pigs are scavenger animals and frequently contain parasites and viral life forms that are not killed with cooking. It is not that difficult to substitute other animal protein for pork.
