Russia has 700,000 registered orphans and children with no parental supervision, but Prosecutor General Vladimir Ustinov said experts believe the real number is two or three million.

Nearly all of the thousands of children living on the streets of Moscow come from other parts of the country and are barred from the capital's schools or orphanages.

It is really sad to read of the hardships these children must endure through no fault of their own.
A culture that has consciously elected to exclude God from its system is bound for many troubles. Let's pray for the Russians that their current tragedies may show them the path for future healing.
