A new study suggests a considerable amount of hype exists about cancer treatments. It can therefore be hard to find out the truth about alternative cancer treatments. This new study suggests that some Internet sites promote alternative remedies for cancer that may be dangerous.
A study of 13 alternative medicine sites revealed that some discourage patients from using conventional treatments, such as chemotherapy. They instead promote alternative remedies for which there is little or no evidence of effectiveness.
Cancer patients often get confused in the maze of claims and counter claims and turn to the Internet for information. The Internet can then provide advice that has led to real harm and even death in some cases.
The researchers found five of the 13 Web sites offered potentially harmful advice to patients and said that two more were "dangerous."

Cancer is a major treatment challenge; it happens when we continue to ignore the subtle signals from our body to slow down, eat better, address our stress issues, get plenty of rest and exercise. It's sad that we let our bodies deteriorate before we pay attention and start on the road towards health and healing.
I don't focus on treating cancer patients, but I recently seem to be caring for many more. I simply provide foundational health treatments such as normalizing a patient's insulin level, improving his omega 6:3 fatty-acid ratio and providing solutions for years of stress that has most likely produced profound bioelectrical short-circuiting in his autonomic nervous system.
I'm sharing my specific strategies at the First International Cancer Symposium in Dallas next month. I'm presenting with leading experts in the entire field of cancer treatment and I'm very excited to be a participant. There are two tracks: one for the health care professional and one for the person or family affected by someone afflicted with cancer.
If cancer is a challenge for you or someone you love, consider attending the Symposium to find out the latest treatments the field of medicine has to offer.
