Extremely Obese Sharply Increase

One out of every 50 Americans adults are now extremely obese, or are 100 pounds or more overweight. This is a four-fold increase from the 1980s. While this condition was once considered to be a rare condition due to hormonal abnormalities, researchers are now blaming overeating and sedentary lifestyles for at least some of the problem. Obesity and extreme obesity carry many related health effects, such as heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure and arthritis.

Dr. Mercola Dr. Mercola's Comments:

Two-thirds of Americans are overweight, and the number of Americans who are more than 100 pounds overweight has grown twice as fast as the overall trend toward obesity affecting the country.

This is most unfortunate as obesity is completely preventable and "curable" if you have the right tools: a nutritious diet, regular exercise and a technique to address and overcome emotional issues.

Anyone who is having weight challenges, whether you need to gain weight or lose it, could benefit from these items. If you are a parent it is particularly important for you to lead a healthy lifestyle--your child will mimic your behavior, so being a healthy parent means having a healthy child (plus, you’ll want to be sure you’re around for a long time to be with them!).
