German New Medicine (GNM), developed by Dr. Ryke Geerd Hamer, M.D., operates under the premise that every disease, including cancer, originates from an unexpected shock experience. The discovery came after Dr. Hamer, the former head internist in the oncology clinic at the University of Munich, Germany, lost his son in an unexpected tragedy, then developed testicular cancer. The diagnosis led him to study the connection between stressful events and disease by investigating the histories of his cancer patients. He found that, like himself, every one of his patients had gone through a very stressful episode prior to developing cancer, and, upon investigating other diseases found that every disease is controlled from its own specific area in the brain and linked to a very particular, identifiable, “conflict shock.” GNM is based of five biological laws that apply scientifically to each and every case of disease. They include:
Further, Dr. Hamer believes that a person cannot die of cancer in and of itself. If someone dies during the conflict-active phase of disease, he says, it’s because of energy loss, weight loss, sleep deprivation, and emotional and mental exhaustion. The stress of receiving a cancer diagnosis, or being given a negative prognosis, is often enough to deprive a person of their life-force. Conventional cancer treatments only accelerate the downward spiral. While trying to publicize his findings, Dr. Hamer has been persecuted and harassed by German and French authorities. He is now living in exile in Spain where he is continuing his fight for official recognition of GNM.

I was privileged in taking a course on Dr. Hamer's work and found it to be very much of an eye-opener. He is able to look at a brain scan and see where the shock in the brain took place and what organ it was related to. Since all organs have an emotion attached to it eg. liver = anger you are then able to deal with the emotion and amazing results take place (through EFT or just talking to client). I was able to confirm these "shocks" through Quantum Biofeedback and in questioning the client. Everyone of my clients with cancer knew exactly when the shock took place. Amazing!!!!
How intriguing! Where do you practice? Do you know of more practitioners doing similar work on cancer patients? My mother-in-law was diagnosed with colon cancer and then liver cancer a few years ago and for the first two years she did an alternative therapy with Dr. Butar in Charlotte, NC. But just after the passing of her mother-in-law, she was bumped up to a 5 and the docs told her it had moved to her lungs too. She had a tumor blocking her intestines that was bypassed with surgery and then on moved onto chemo as they told her she had 6 months possibly. Her body is doing remarkably well with the chemo (I belive its because she got so much junk out when she was doing the alternative therapies, and her amazingly positive attitude) But it still kills me to know they are putting those poisons in her!
Anyway, great article, and any info anyone has on practitioners already using this type of treatment would be greatly appreciated!
Beauvision - where did you take this course? Just curious if there would be anything still out there of his to learn from. This is fascinating and I TOTALLY believe this to be true, as I have seen similar evidence in my practice. 10 times out of 10 when I ask a client, not just with cancer, but any debilitating disease, what trauma they experienced in their life at the time they developed the disease, they can recall immediately. Intuitively, they know their cancer was not random or unexplained. I've also watched so many with terminal illnesses survive quite well with support (emotional, physical and spiritual), then die within days if that support is removed.
This is truly groundbreaking and God Bless Dr. Hamer for his courage!

I took my course in Toronto but there are many other places to take the course - see Dr. Mercola's web sites on new medicine - I also learned, according to Dr. Hamer, that there is no such thing as cancer moving from one organ to another - it is just another 'shock' eg. person gets bowel cancer from too much turmoil in their life - can't digest anymore - the Dr. tells them they have cancer - if the emotion at the time is anger this leads to liver cancer - if they think they are going to die - lung cancer. I have also checked this out with my clients and this also holds true.
It is not just the shock. I had another State kidnap and torture my daughter. I cursed God heartily that He ever made me. It would have been thousands of times better for me never to have been born--but my daughter needed me. I HAD to be healthy. I was. I got no colds, I did not even get the number of headaches I used to get.
epilog: My daughter was returned, graduated from High School, one of the best hula hoopers in the State of North Carolina. Like the aftermath of a hurricane, I, too, am thriving, with paid work in molecular biology and intensely interesting stuff to do every day. I eagerly look forward to an even more interesting future, and yes, I am healthy.
OMG, Beauvision, that is exactly the course of events, exactly: started in her colon, then they immediately found a spot in her liver, and years later the lungs, and the lungs didn't show up until just after the death of her motherinlaw when she was getting very little support because she told us all that she was fine and didn't need extra help and support. But in reality she was really giving up hope and seeing someone so close to her pass away didn't help. She even told us, when she thought she was dying that she felt that she fulfilled all she wanted to, ie. see a few of her grandkids be born, stick around long enough to say goodbye to everyone, etc. The ironic thing about it is that at the very same time, her ex husband was climbing Acancogua, but he doesn't take anything personally and hasn't really experienced any real tragedy in his life. Anyway, what you have stated makes perfect sense to me, I just wish I had more power to enlighten everyone I know and love so they can take care of themselves when/if the time comes.
People might be interested in Metamedicine, www.meta-medicine.com an organisation who are in the process of building and expanding upon the work of Dr Hamer. According to META-medicine, there is not only a mind body connection but actually a very precise organ-mind-brain-social connection. They offer personal help and training for what I believe is a revolution in under standing of disease, healing and health. Check it out.
I've taken several GNM seminars myself and successfully overcome what conventional medicine would call ovarian cancer.
The beauty about GNM is that it can explain WHY we get "sick", i.e. why the body manifests certain symptoms.
Because GNM looks so perfectly logical and easy to grasp when you just hear a summary of it, some people (including Metamedicine and as of late some NLP practitioners) take a couple of courses, are fascinated and then go off on their own to formulate their own GNM-based theories.
This is a real problem, because (aside from the fact that these folks are plagarizing Dr. Hamer's work and using his research without permission) GNM, once you go beyond an introduction, really requires careful study.
To correctly interpret the brain scans takes thousands of hours of practice, because some of the relays are very close to one another.
So PLEASE be very cautious when you are exposed to any of these pseudo-GNM practices like Metamedicine. What they are doing can be downright dangerous if they don't know which conflicts to leave alone (some healing phases are deadly) or in which order to resolve conflicts if there is more than one.
Dr. Hamer has based his findings on almost 30 years of observation and empirical knowledge and he keeps mapping new areas of the brain. If you want the real deal, find a qualified GNM instructor. Courses are offered in Canada in the following locations: Vancouver, B.C; in Ottawa, Ontario and in Montreal, Quebec.
could you tell me more about this quantum biofeedback machine? i am very interested. what are your credentials? i am working on my ND....
Great observation Reesacat! Fill one's life with as much positive as possible and life will flourish - fill one's life with negative and life fizzles away.
(Kind-of a blanket statement, but one that has merit. Feed the body positive fresh organic fruits and vegetables and the body grows strong, feed the body megative processed foods and the body grows weak and sick and eventually dies.)
This is very good information. Craniosacral therapy is amazing. I have been receiving it along with massage (various modalities from traditional Swedish to manual lymphatic drainage, reflexology, ortho-bionomy, Trager, myofascial, etc.) over the past several years. I was diagnosed with a rare stage 4 cancer in 1999, and radiation/chemo have not been able to eliminate it from my body. I firmly believe cancer, in most cases, begins with stress and/or trauma. Sure, lung cancer is often a direct result of smoking, but most cancers don't have such a clear-cut physical cause and affect nature. Complementary and/or alternative methods of healing, such as craniosacral therapy, are excellent tools to help restore balance and health.
blueram72 - thank you for sharing.........and best, best wishes on your continued healing.
Well put Mercola Fan. At the world Symposium in Nassau two papers were given idependently of each other. One from the UK the other from Spain. Both proved that over seventy percent of illness is caused by stress as a significant contributing factor.
Well put and thank you for the info.
Blessings

Strange to tell, but true. I attended a cocktail party at UVa during the summer session about 1970-72 where I met a grad student in psychology from what is now known as Virginia Commonwealth University. He told me that a group he was working with had stumbled onto a connection between recent loss of a loved one and cancer which they did not have the funds to pursue. Being in Richmond, they had thought that R.J. Reynolds or Phillip Morris (cigarette manufacturing companies based in that city) might be interested in funding this line of research, but their requests had been rather summarily rejected.
