Homeschoolers LOVE Ron Paul

Regular newsletter readers are already familiar with Ron Paul’s outstanding views on health care, as I’ve shared many of them with you. You may not yet know that his views on education are equally noteworthy, particularly if you’re an advocate for homeschooling.

Ron Paul is a strong proponent for homeschooling and has consistently voted to remove government jurisdiction from public schools, instead believing that control should be put back into the hands of the parents.

“The federal government does not own our children. Yet we act as if it does by letting it decide when, how, and what our children will learn. We have turned their futures over to lobbyists and bureaucrats.

I support giving educational control back to parents, who know their children better than any politician in D.C. ever will,” says Ron Paul in a statement on his Web site.

You can hear Ron Paul speak directly about his favorable attitude toward homeschooling in the short video above.

So What Can YOU Do?

If you agree with Ron Paul’s message of freedom and liberty then JOIN THE CAUSE!

I have never donated to any politician in my life. However, I am going to break that pattern now by contributing to the next Ron Paul drive on December 16. If you are considering donating to Ron Paul, do NOT do it until that time.

You see it is NOT directly about the money. He is only going to use the money to gather media attention -- and by collecting so much money he has gathered millions of dollars of media attention that he could never afford to buy. This helped spread his message of freedom and liberty, which are both currently at risk in the United States.

If you can’t afford to donate, that is no problem. What you CAN do is SPREAD the word.

Search my site for previous Ron Paul videos and send them to ALL of your friends and relatives, and encourage them to sign up for the December 16 campaign.

There are 1.3 million people that receive this newsletter. We CAN make a HUGE difference. If only a small fraction of you spread this message in YOUR networks and communities just imagine what we can do.

So drive everyone you know and have them join the Ron Paul Boston Tea Party Campaign on December 16. This date is in celebration of the 234th anniversary of the Boston Tea Party in which the founding fathers of the United States made a difference that ultimately freed them from the largest military force on the planet at that time.

Also, if you want to show your support for Ron Paul in your neighborhood, get a yard sign.

If you saw the amazing water buffalo video you can start to realize that if we all unite together we really do have a chance to overthrow the lions that are trying to eat us alive.

RON PAUL ..Dr No...... Mr President!!!!
We have sent in  here and there we can spare- it's tight now for us!  Will donate DEC 16th with $ 100 again just like NOV 5th.
It is that important that we support the only common sense  politician we have.. Ron Paul  cures  apathy

Brief Overview of Congressman Paul’s Record:

He has never voted to raise taxes.
He has never voted for an unbalanced budget.
He has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.
He has never voted to raise congressional pay.
He has never taken a government-paid junket.
He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.

He voted against the Patriot Act.
He voted against regulating the Internet.
He voted against the Iraq war.

He does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program.
He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year.

Congressman Paul introduces numerous pieces of substantive legislation each year, probably more than any single member of Congress.

"It's The Economy, Stupid."

If the above is still true, vote for Ron Paul, he is the ONLY 2008 US Presidential Candidate planning on lowering your taxes, reforming bloated and wasteful and corrupt government, and getting us out of the wars spilling lots of American blood for the oil companies and military industrial complex, reaping all time record profits AT YOUR DIRECT EXPENSE!

Don't believe me?  What did you just pay at the pump?  And plan to pay MORE in the coming months and years, unless Dr. Paul is elected.

Interesting,

It amazes me how few really know what is important about a candidate, but will pick apart a few items of little impact, while ignoring Constitutional issues entirely.

Thanks for posting Ron's voting record, and I hope others look at the important issues more carefully on all candidates, not just Ron Paul.  There is no candidate which everyone will agree with on every issue, but you have to start focusing on the most important ones first, and that starts with Constitutional ones in my opinion.

Anyone who voted as Ron Paul has will get my vote.  He is the first person who has been saying it like it is without worrying about who he will offend in Washington. He is a maverick compared to all the rest, and that is what we need for the office of president.

As to his stand on energy, nuclear fusion is a safe alternative, just look at France to see the future of clean and safe energy, they are building a nuclear fusion facility which most do not even know exists.  And as far as coal goes, there are also advanced coal to fuel technologies, also environmentally safer than burning coal, so until people understand what Ron means when he says he supports nuclear and coal, they should be current on why he advocates the above, and if people become educated on issues of importance, then we will see positive changes in gov.

The bottom line is to end foreign oil dependency first, implementing environmentally safe energy technologies is the right first step, and this would include solar, geo-thermal, nuclear, oil sands and shale tar extraction seperation along with liguid fuel from coal conversion.  We have many options for alternative energy, yet few are talking about them.

Peace,

He is also pro nuclear energy and pro coal.  While I like alot of his stances I cannot live with a candidate that is okay with that kind of energy policy.  I cannot understand someone like Dr. M supporting a candidate that is pronuke and procoal.  that would seem to be completely at odds with his health policies.  There are other candidates out there that are for the same health and education policies but who also have clean energy policies.  My vote will go with Dennis Kucinich instead of Dr. Paul because I  cannot support someone who would be okay with the fallout from coal and nuclear energy.

Nuclear energy is the safest energy form out there, and don't let Chernobyl and Three Mile Island fool you.  Look at France to see how it does work, safely and cleanly.  As for coal, the technology exists for smokestack scrubbers and has for decades.  Dr. Paul's pollution positon is simple:  pollution violates property rights and should be dealt with accordingly.

Aliza, I suggest you do some more research and revisit your positions, because if you want to vote for Cuckoocinich, then you'll get more government, more taxes, and more pollution.

BTW, the #1 polluter in the world is the military in the warzone...

So I guess we can put the all the nuclear waste in your backyard.  Good to know.  I have done the research.  And this is what I see.  There is no way that nuclear is cleaner from start to finish then putting solar on the rooftops of houses. We now have nano flex sheeting that brings the cost of solar down below that of nuclear. There are lots of ways to look at this.

Good thing Dr. Paul doesnt stoop to name calling eh?  It is rather unbecoming in an adult.  As I said I like some of what Dr. Paul has to say and some I find really disturbing for the long run of the earth.

I am with Aliza on this.  I don't believe there is really a safe way to store the waste.  I also believe nuclear plants would be a great target for "terrorists."

I do like Kucinich's views best, but I don't believe ANY candidate could get us out of the current mess we're in.  I think we might just be headed into an illuminati-induced crash.  Maybe I'm wrong.  I hope so... it would be nice to be wrong on this one.  I'd like to see us all thrive (wild animals included).

Hi aliza,

I wanted to ask you if you knew how they created solar panels?

One of the materials, Cadmium telluride is toxic.  It cannot be handled without appropriate gloves and it's dust is toxic as well.

Now I wonder what kind of effect manufacturing these panels would cause if it were to become a federal mandate.  Disposing them could be an issue too if your local town didn't have a recycling facility for them. You can't just throw them out in the trash. Unfortunately if every house to have them, some people would do just that.

There will always be dangers when creating energy! That's just how it is, so don't automatically reject coal or nuclear energy.  Just because solar panels look clean, does not necessarily mean they are perfect.

This goes along with the new Compact Fluorescent light bulbs everyone is pushing for. They have mercury in them and people are going to start throwing them out in their garbage cans further polluting the Earth with mercury. Like we need anymore mercury in the environment!

I could never vote for Kucinich. Ugh the thought of him being president scares me. He wants to INCREASE the size of government rather than decrease it and he wants to ban all guns.  That's a nightmare and the beginning stages of a tyrannical government.

Birdlady, The Sierra Club released a report about the mercury in compact fluorescents.  The mercury released by coal burning plants to power one incandescent is much greater than the total mercury in one fluorescent.  So the fluorescents are better, but I'm more interested in the LED technology.  Very long life and low wattage.

There is also some solar technology that uses parabolic mirrors that is much cleaner, cheaper, and more efficient than the plastic based technology.  The only problem is that it wouldn't be as compact as the latest stick-on, and people are so caught up looks that they might consider these not in line with the design of their house.  Strange how these values work.  Wind, geothermal, small non-damming hydro, algae based biofuels, hydrogen (see Honda's new ideas about home manufacturing) are some other technologies.  It might not be a good idea to focus on just one.  Getting off the grid with many different technologies appropriate to your region might be the best way to go.

As far as big vs. less government, it seems to me that no matter what happens, the corporations are in control.  They buy the government if the government has power.  If there's less government, they'll still do whatever they please and likely wreck the survivability of our species and many more.

Maybe these political theaters have nothing to do with our survival.  Maybe our survival depends on us as individuals.  Maybe the choices we make in everyday life will be the deciding factor...

Ron Paul also supports letting the people decide through the market which technologies win out.  He's all for consumers coming together through places like "Dr. Mercola's" website to educate people.  That's called FREEDOM for you and me.  He would support you aliza in what you're trying to do to inform people of the dangers of coal and nuclear energy.  It may take while, and if the IRS is gone, you and I may have more money in our pocket to help drive the market to more cleaner energy.

The wrong approach is government sanctioned and tax-payer funded energy.  BIG goverment, less freedom for you and me.

I homeschool. It doesn't affect my decision to support Ron Paul.  I can't explain away any of Ron Paul's positions on foreign policy or guns just because I homeschool or like raw milk.  Why is Ron Paul the ONLY candidate (heck, member of the house of representatives) who voted against the Darfur Accountability and Divestment Act.  The intent of the act was to dictate that the US government would no longer purchase goods or services from companies who are, in essence, *helping* with the genocide in Darfur. Companies who are directly helping fund the Sudanese government's murder of their own citizens would no longer be recipients of Government contracts or funds.  Passed 418-1. Ron Paul was the one.  I think the folks in Darfur have a bit bigger concerns than raw milk.

Good point karlak and as I said before about Ron Paul.

I love Mercola and honestly think and believe Ron Paul is our best choice for President.  However I do have a legitimate fear that Ron Paul will over privatize anything he gets his hands on.  The last thing I want to see is Mega Corporations with already God Like powers in our Country fill the gap that our defeated corrupt Government will leave if Ron Paul succeeds.  I hope he has a plan for the corporate powers that are just beneath the surface of political corruption.  If not we will find that our Government was kind and caring compared to the types of demons that run most Large Scale corporations like Monsanto in the U.S.  I am not bashing Ron Paul; in fact I donated money to his campaign and plan to do so again.  Let's just keep an eye out to make sure that a Corporate Tyrant/Emperor does not emerge from the ashes.  Instead let's summon the phoenix of the peoples understanding and good intentions to bear the front of American change and herald a new coming into the world unlike anything we have ever seen before!

“Life is not an eternal search for GOD; Life is an eternal expression of GOD”.  AMEN

PEACE and Blessings be with you all…
