How Vaccines Can Damage Your Brain

vaccines, elderly, neurodegenerative disease, alzheimer‘s, parkinson‘s, adult vaccination schedule, dangerous vaccines, brain damage, mercury, aluminumVaccines, Depression and Neurodegeneration After Age 50: Another Reason to Avoid the Recommended Vaccines.

By Russell L. Blaylock, M.D., CCN

It has been estimated that 14.8 million Americans suffer from major depressive disorder and of this number 6 million are elderly. If we include anxiety disorders, which commonly accompany depression, the number jumps to 40 million adults.

Depression later in life tends to last longer and be more severe than at younger ages. It is also associated with a high rate of suicide. Previously, it was thought that major depression was secondary to a deficiency in certain neurotransmitters in the brain, particularly the monoamines, which include serotonin, norepinephrine and dopamine.

While alterations in these important mood-related neurotransmitters is found with major depression, growing evidence indicates that the primary culprit is low-grade, chronic brain inflammation.

This exclusive article will review in detail the functions and impact of various agents on depression and neurodegeneration, including:

  • The impact of MSG on your brain and mood
  • The link between elevated brain glutamate and inflammation
  • The connections between pesticides and neurological disorders such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease
  • How vaccinations cause brain inflammation
  • The impact of an expanding vaccine schedule for the elderly
  • The shocking truth, linking brain inflammation to neurodegenerative diseases
  • How vaccine additives such as mercury and aluminum impact your brain health
  • The real danger of live virus vaccines

Current recommendations by the CDC for adult vaccinations include a total of 14 separate inoculations with infectious agents and powerful immune adjuvants.

According to CDC recommendations, multiple vaccinations for a single disease are separated by no more than 4 weeks, which is close enough together to trigger a smoldering process of brain inflammation and excitotoxicity that can not only result in depression, anxiety and high suicide rates, but can increase your risk of developing one of the neurodegenerative diseases as well.

We have also seen that in many cases a person will be injected with several vaccines during a single office visit and this means that their body is exposed to a very large dose of immune adjuvant. Compelling studies, using many animal species as well as humans, have shown that this overactivates brain inflammatory mechanisms that can last for years.

I urge you to read Dr. Blaylock’s full-length article, Vaccines, Depression and Neurodegeneration After Age 50: Another Reason to Avoid the Recommended Vaccines, a Mercola.com exclusive, for a fascinating in-depth look at how neurodegenerative diseases are created, and how to protect yourself from what many consider to be simply side effects of the ravages of time -- but are anything but a natural byproduct of aging.

Dr. Mercola''s Comments Dr. Mercola's Comments:

First, I’d like to thank Dr. Russell Blaylock for his highly informative article on this vital issue. He is one of my main contributing editors, and a valued colleague and friend. As a board-certified neurosurgeon who has written over 30 papers published in peer-reviewed scientific journals, Dr. Blaylock is an expert in the field of excitotoxicity.  His papers on the connection between excitotoxicity and fluoride neurotoxiocity, and autism and the Gulf War Syndrome have received praise from leading authorities in each of these areas of research.

I realize that the issue of vaccination is quite controversial and is one of the bedrocks of "prevention" in conventional medicine and that anyone who opposes them is viewed as a dangerous quack and threat to the public health. I understand this because this was precisely the view I had when I graduated medical school.

However, after more than two decades of practice, I encountered hundreds of vaccine casualties that spurred me to carefully review the evidence, and I came to a completely different conclusion.

Those at Greatest Risk are Getting the Most Vaccinations

Both infants and the elderly are high-risk groups when it comes to the destructive impact vaccines can have on their health. And yet, these are the two groups targeted with the most recommended vaccines – often being given multiple shots at a time.

I strongly encourage you to review the evidence before you expose yourself or your children to these potentially dangerous injections. I am convinced that their questionable benefits are far outweighed by their dangerous side effects.

As Dr. Blaylock explained in detail above, vaccinations are highly neurotoxic, and are associated with many neurological disorders, such as:

Degenerative Brain Disorders

ADD

Autism

Epilepsy and convulsions

Mental Retardation

Depression and Anxiety

Central Nervous System Disorders

Paralysis

Guillain-Barre Syndrome

Nerve Deafness

Blindness

SIDS

For example, autism was virtually unheard of before vaccinations; its emergence precisely parallels mass vaccination programs. ADD and learning disorders in children are also now being traced to childhood vaccinations. Brain damage, at any age, is by far the most common adverse reaction associated with vaccinations, although their actual numbers are not often reported correctly.

Don’t Trade the Flu for Dementia

Vaccines, ALL vaccines, are immune suppressing, meaning they lower your immune functions. The chemicals and adjuvants in the vaccines depress your immune system; the virus present depresses immune function, and the foreign DNA/RNA from animal tissues depresses immunity -- that is the trade-off you are risking.

The medical thought is that it’s okay to trade a small overall immune depression for immunity to one disease. However, this trade is not at all in your favor when you consider the fact that you’re trading a TOTAL immune system depression, which is your main defense against ALL known disease -- including millions of pathogens, for a temporary immunity against just one disease. And that’s optimistic; many vaccines simply do not work and offer no immunity whatsoever.

There are alternate and vastly safer methods of protecting yourself and your children against disease, and it all begins with a truly healthy diet, as outlined in my eating plan.

Of course, drug manufacturers and the governments they have purchased don't want you to believe that the foods you consume, and the lifestyle habits you adopt are the PRIMARY SOLUTIONS to establishing immunity to diseases and living longer.

Avoiding vaccinations of all kinds tends to look like the better choice the more you know about the subject, and doing your research could literally mean the difference between life and death.

I had my 5 children at home, and home schooled. For a couple years my two oldest went to public school and I was forced into letting them be vaccinated. I've always had a aversion to these vaccines, figuring our bodies have the capability of handling most viruses own their own. Now to read this article increases my  disgust with "medical authorities" doing things when they really don't know the outcome. Like the "butter or margarine", "artificial sw. vs. sugar" debate! I will never get a flu shot and have already been trying to discourage it among my older friends. Now I will write an article for our local paper.
Thank You!!

Good luck with the article in the paper.  I send constant letters to the paper correcting the information they publish.  None has ever been printed.  They simply accept the info they are given by the CDC or FDA as fact.  One news channel last week reported that there was a serious blood shortage here in Cincinnati due to the flu outbreak  HUHHH.  I dont know of anyone who needs blood due to the flu.  Now I send the letter to the paper and forward it to everyone I know.  At least some information gets out.

I wish I knew what I know now. My son had a DPT shot at 6months, later on that day he had about 10 seizures, was hospitalized for 2 weeks. He was never the same after those seizures. He stopped crawling, stop holding his bottle, stop smiling. He was diagnosed with autism at the age 2. My son is now 20, and still have seizures once in a while. He is my only child. I just could not handle going through this ever again.

I also wish that I knew what I know now back when I vaccinated my children. I am a homeschooling mom to 4 kiddos.  My daughter was diagnosed with Alopecia Areata (it's now Alopecia Totallis) when she was 3.  I had figured out there could be a link to this as it coincided with a dose of immunizations.  When I found out I was pregnant with #4, my husband and I both agreed not to vaccinate as we had stopped all with our others.  Well the hospital administered the hep B without our consent.  At about 6 days of age our son developed round bald patches (not normal infant balding), that's when I looked at the immunization card and noticed what had happened.  Thank god his condition cleared up with the use of elidel.  After reporting both of my children's reactions to immunizations, I was told that this is becoming more common and was advised not to immunize my chilren.  She also went onto say that I needed to make my children aware in the future when they have children.  She also informed me that they are discovering that immunizations don't immunize some people.  I am one of those.  I had my mmr twice as a child, yet when I had my first daughter I showed no immunity.  They convinced me to get another and I still show no immunity. It's sad that something has to happen before you get all of the info!  If they had fully disclosed all information I never would have immunized from day 1.

Yes, Like you I have 5 children and I home educated all of them but I had the blessing to learn about vaccines back in the 1970's before I had my children.  I have been passionately researching (27 years) and educating parents about the dangers of vaccines for last 15 years and I released DVD called,

"Are Vaccines Safe?"  Dr. Joe just sent it out to all on his newsletter 2 weeks ago and now almost 70,000 people have viewed it!!!!  Thank You Dr. Joe and please let everyone know my web site for more information on vaccines is www.childhoodshots.com   Thank You, Mary Tocco

Wow!

Each and every year our children's school requires that we sign a waiver to indicate that we are refusing to vaccinate our children.  If we don't, they can't attend school.

Public Health officials and the CDC need to grow a brain.  It's obvious they can't due to their vaccination protocols, which in reality damage the brain.  Last time I was a my doctor's office, the first thing out of the receptionists mouth was, "Do you want to get your flu vaccine today?"

We will never have our children vaccinated, nor will my wife or I get a vaccine.

I get so distraught at the f--ing of America, sometimes I just want to leave.

If you find an island someplace with all the modern conveniences that we have learned to love and feel we need with no political hogwash disrupting lives--better keep it a secret, because we will all be on your tail following you.--LOL

Learning to be happy and satisfied where ever we are at, no matter who is throwing how much dung at us is not easy.

Congratulations on learning from your parent's health problems and working to make sure it doesn't happen to you.

Don't let the door hit us on the way out?  Are you serious?  Ironic that you'd "defend" this country by going against one of it's most important principles... that of free speech and our right to express dissent.  I guess you think our founding fathers, when they were tired of living under England's corruption, should've just shut up and gone elsewhere, not letting the door hit them in the a** on the way out?  Thomas Jefferson said "The spirit of resistance to government is so valuable on certain occasions, that I wish it to be always kept alive."

If you think this is the best country on earth, GREAT!  Enjoy.  For those of us who think it could be even better, well, there's nothing wrong with that either.

Deadhead,

You forget that our founding fathers, being so sick of the corruption in England DID go elsewhere - that elsewhere is the US.

We have drifted so far from our founding father's vision that a lot of us wonder if we can ever get it back.

Hmmm. Deadhead and New to Natural are responding to a post that has been deleted. I saw it earlier, but when I came back to reply, it was gone.

May I respectfully suggest that simply because an opinion is unpopular, that is no reason to eliminate it. Free speech and a lively exchange of ideas are important. In fact, Dr. Mercola himself confirmed that in the last newsletter.

The writer of the missing post suggested that those who don't think this is the greatest nation in the world should leave it. The writer has obviously never been abroad, because there are easily a dozen countries just as fine as ours. There is no utopia. At least those who belong to health sites like this are working to bring about positive change and make a difference here. Had that post remained, the writer might have read some responses that would have given him (or her) new insights.

First of all do no harm is the first premise of the Hypocratic oath.  It's too bad that our medical community is brainwashed by those who care first about profits, and secondarily about the same.

Wisest thing to do is to educate yourself fully on the vaccines.  I have never received the flu shot, nor will my daughter.  The others, unfortunately, I have given my daughter per the long arm of the law.  I do not wish to homeschool my girl, so I face the unfortunate "Texan govt. knows more B.S."

I can only share my experience with you.  Throughout my pregnancy of my first child,  the person I had to fight was my husband.  He had grown up with the allopathic paradigm and thought we HAD to vaccinate our children.  I started by providing him with information and books such as"The immunization decision" and others.  This was back in 1993-1994 when there wasn't as much info and we didn't have the internet.  After he supported my decision, his parents were aghast.

However, we have never regretted it.  We have supplied the private pre- schools and schools with the immunization exemption form annually.  The state of Ohio requires only the paperwork to be on file for each child, not the actual vaccine(s) but  the public schools don't tell you that.  We actually used the "religious" exemption  one year when our children were in  a religious school!

So dr dani, the decision is yours but it should be an informed decision.  Knowledge is power.

At least wait until the bloodbrain barrier is formed at 18 months. From now until then try to get just a tetanus shot due to them crawling and maybe getting an infection, if it breaks their skin, when they start to walk and try to find a polio vaccine only (not in combination with other vaccines) and try to get it in the form of a drinkable liquid due to that is how you get polio is through the gut and babies are always putting stuff into their mouths. Sounds logical doesn't it?  Unless you are hanging around indigent populations wait until they are at least 18 months to 2 years old.  NO hurry the vaccines will still be there and who knows what research will come out by then.
This recommendation is by a personal friend who is a UK Holistic trained and vascular surgeon physician whose grandfather invented the typhoid vaccine.

Dr. Dani52,

I have an un-vaccinated 1 1/2 year old who gets sick far less than her vaccinated play mates.  It's a tough decision, and I got a LOT of flack from the in-laws, but I believe it will be worth it in the long run.

The National Vaccine Information Center has a lot of great information on vaccinations, as well as a database of state laws and exemptions.  Their website is http://www.nvic.org

I have no personal vested interest, just found the site very useful.

Print the pages out and take them to your homeopath but you may need to check first that they provide this service - not all do.

Educate yourself for your childs sake!  I have a 3 year old that you would have to kill me before you could ever shot up with toxic noxiuos chemicals.  We eat organic foods, use homeopathic medicine and see some-one for bio-energetic resynchronizing.  Yes it is expensive but our quality of life is worth every penny. We will never surcome to the business of sickness and disease.  Think Quantum!

Drdani52,

I was the mother of a 2 months old baby 22 years ago and succumbed to the family pressure to vaccinate.   I delayed the shot to 3 months but after giving in I was confronted by a child that screamed solidly for 3 days (normally a very placid baby) he also had a fever and the lump in his arm was at least an inch across and hard and lasted for more than 3 months, fortunately for him and us there were no known no lasting effects.  I was told that this was a normal reaction, however I then educated myself and had no further vaccinations on him or his 2 younger siblings.  As they grew none of them had any asthma or excema that all their cousins have and they rarely had any illness while I had control over their diets.  When they became teenagers and had their own money or friends who bought them junk food was the only time that they had illnesses. My daughter got glandular fever when she was in grade 10 but that is the only major illness that we have faced with all three.

In Australia it is possible to attend public schools without vaccination, though I believe they are making it more difficult for parents. The schools can ask for non vaccinated children to be removed in an epidemic for their own protection but I have never seen this at work.  But even this seems a contradiction cause if the vaccinations really work why do the vaccinated children succumb to the diseases they have had shots against?

I have friends whose 2 week old baby nearly died of whooping cough. Investigation was done to find the source, the baby's brother had contracted it from a friend at school who was fully vaccinated so go figure.

My heart goes out to each of the people here who have reported severely damaged children & adults, all I can say is it is a horrible way to learn what a horrendous experiment they are doing on all of us.

Dr Dani,

please read more on Mercola's website to educate yourself on vaccines.  After doing so, I seriously doubt you will want to inject yourself, or your children with any of those toxic chemicals.

To all others, here is a state by state breakdown of vaccine exemption allowances:

nvic.org/.../state-exemptions.htm

DrDani, Texas is great for vaccine rights.  You can exempt for Medical, religious, and/or philosophical reasons!

The trick is this, in most of these states (if not all) you have to have your exemption filed with the appropriate parties!  Usually, that just means the school you are attending.  You may need to have the form notarized as well (like I had to in Georgia).

You are not at all obligated to vaccinate in Texas. There is a form you can submit to Austin stating your religious or moral opposition. Here is the link:

Do NOT subject your kids to any more mercury, aluminum and monkey bits.

To TX poster- TX allows waivers for vaccines, as do most or all states.

To Dr.dani-

How can you not harm your baby?  Don't give the vaccines or delay them, and eliminate thermisol completely.  The purposed benefits of vaccines are NOT worth the risk when talking about a TWO MONTH OLD.

I vaccinated my first, but on a delayed schedule.  She was born two months prematurely, and my pediatrician agreed with the delay.   She has Asperger Syndrome, but I believe it is unrelated to the vaccines.   I also delayed my second child, who developed normally up until her 12 month shots, when she became non verbal and reclusive.  A previously happy and social child preferred to stay in her crib for 20 hours a day.

Her younger sister also regressed after vaccinations.  So, with my fourth I let them give her only part of the vaccines.  She became very ill with her 4 month vaccines.  Again at 6 months she had only part of the vaccines and she again became very ill.  Both times she was ill for nearly two months, with various symptoms such as high fevers, strange rashes, high pitched crying, ear infections, ect but the Drs (I saw several) insisted that it is NORMAL for children to be sick all the time.  according to them the change in symptoms indicated the good news that her immune system DID fight them off, although she was constantly ill.  My children are not in day care and I breastfeed, ect- it is NOT normal for us.  So, I haven't vaccinated her in 6 months and although she has caught a couple of colds they have been short lived and mild.  I later discovered that one or more of the vaccines she was given were recalled!

What's really scary- the DRs did not view the illnesses as vaccine related therefore it was never reported.  The stats for the vaccines are totally skewed because Drs are not reporting problems with the vaccines.  We don't even know how many children may have fallen ill or died because of the 'preventives' that are forced on us!

My daughter was 47 days old when my pediatrician talked me into vaccinating her against my better judgement.  However, stuck in that small exam room with a crying baby - I allowed the doctor to substitute his judgement for my own.  It was and is the biggest mistake of my life.  I had been informed of some problems with vaccinations (20/20 did a 40 minute segment two months before she was born), and my older child had a pretty severe reaction (only later did I learn his reaction should have contraindicated any further doses).   My daughter was in severe reaction within an hour of her first vaccines and died two days later.  The medical examiner initially ruled SIDS because he'd not been given information on what happened to her in the 48 hours between the shot and her death.  He was a tremendously honest doctor and when I was allowed to meet with him, he redid the autopsy using slides from retained tissue samples from her heart, kindeys, brain and other organs.   When he knew what he was looking for, he found it - swelling of the brain and in particular, swelling of the lining surrounding the brain.  He also found vaccine pooled in her heart tissue.

Sabra would be 23 this April, had she lived.   I had an older and younger son - but my dreams of a daughter were ended by her first dose of DPT and oral polio vaccines.

EDUCATE YOURSELF and do not allow any other person to decide for you.  I saw that someone had recommended the National Vaccine Information Center - and I whole heartedly concur.  That is a resource of which every new parent should avail themselves.

When my daughter was 4 she contracted Lyme disease form a tick bite.  When I took her in for her "yearly exam" the pediatrician came in with three filled syringes, ready to give her the "required" vaccines.  When I argued that she should not have them because of her current bacterial infection the doctor balked and scared me into thinking that she needed them even more, because being so ill, if she was exposed to any dreaded disease she could not fight it on her own.  After a 5 minute argument, she convinced me that the "best" thing for my daughter was giving her the vaccines, I finally agreed, thinking I had no choice.

Well, my poor baby screamed (a weird, high pitched shreak) all night, had a high fever (of course I was told Tylenol every 3 hours), turned bright red all over her neck and chest and the next day she began hand flapping and squalking like a bird.  She had NEVER done this before.

The squaking and flapping, unfortunately, became permanent.  She would sit in the corner and squalk and squeek and flap her hands and feet like a bird for hours at a time, until she exhausted herself.

She is now 11 and is finally starting to grow out of what they called "Tourette's Syndrome".  Be warned...not only do the vaccines cause Autism it can also cause Tourettes Syndrome like symptoms.  No more vaccines for my family.  I don't care what the government says.  My husband is arming himself (legally).  Just let our state TRY to poison my children again.  There has to be a revolution in this country before more innocent children are harmed.

Since I live in Texas and have two children in public school, YES, there is a philosophical exemption! And you have to sign and notarize the form every two years. My husband talked me into immunizing our first child at the age of two. She had a fever and cried for hours - she had always been a happy child. We decided that we wouldn't do it again except for an emergency. Then our second child stepped on a rusty nail(at the age of four) and we decided to allow the DPT for her. The first shot was fine as it was given in the leg and she "walked it out".  The follow-up shot was given in her arm. Her little arm swelled up and she had the two-and-a-half-inch-across red circle that lasted for three months. She now has Celiac's Disease, which she did not have before.  Our other three children have never and will never have immunizations. If the doctor balks, assert your rights as the parent. If your in-laws fuss, let them; they aren't raising your child. Toxic chemicals have no place in the body. I would rather have my child die of a disease than to live with a damaged brain.  At least I could say that the Lord decided to take my child, not that I had allowed my child to be severely hurt or killed.

Just my thoughts.

If I had it to do over again, I would not have immunized  my 3 children. I cringe everytime I read more evidence on the dangers of them.  You must do your research and be confident with your decision.  If you chose not to,  people will judge you and think your crazy, but it's just because they have not done the research.
