Hola , Highlander, just a note; projects like this , say ,  between Japan and France or America,are rather common place these day , at least  here in France, I must have

a couple dozen good! friends from Japan, of all ilks, when they visit , me , I can do nothing !they are awesome guests, , there is something unhealthy in denigrating remarks,such as Islander was making, what place can they fill? will they make the world a better place ?

I compensate for my nothingness , by acts of sharing usually in some arcane form ,where

humor is the driver, the results have been most interesting,,,,,,, long live the golden rule

Hi , OK we start with a bible quote, no biggy I quote from *** house walls if I like the prose,? ? the idea being, when a natural system functions well , it is wise to consider long and hard , any alterations to said system, basically ,this was  the idea , then came , my realization

that I'd been occupied for rather long, with "other issues",and hadn't contributed recently. ( Islander seems to have a hard-on for Japan ?so I'll skip on details! )ergo my "excuse" and no doubt, as I research the matter, the reason for the  little red "ani" plastered up in the right hand corner?,,,, I have friends in Tokyo, and one of them is an architect, we were discussing , raising Sendai to a level over, any future Tsunamis, using tetrahedronal ,latice framed, tensile structures, exciting Non?,,,,, anyway , cursively skimmed past that one , I thought !!? but , alas- stirred  the hornets nest-- hope this helps?( a footnote , while I prefer natural systems , and imitate them where ever possible!,  sometimes techno fix is the only immediate , as seen by "man" solution, and by the way don't hold your breath, several engineer buddies have began to have some doubts, mainly COSTS!
