| People
who are generally happy, energetic and relaxed are less likely
to be affected by colds compared to people who are angry, depressed
or nervous. Researchers found that people with a positive outlook
were infected less often, and experienced fewer symptoms when
they were infected, than those with a more negative outlook.
Developing ways to improve your emotional state could therefore
reduce your chances of falling ill from a cold and possibly
other infectious diseases as well.
