Researchers from Sweden's Karolinska Institute have found that exposure to mineral oils, especially hydraulic or motor oil, is linked to a 30 percent increased risk of rheumatoid arthritis (RA). It is thought the oils may contain molecules that activate the immune system.
The scientists examined subjects who had been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis between 1996 and 2003. Each patient detailed their history of exposure to various types of oils, including asphalt and engine oil.
The results seemed to indicate that exposure to hydraulic or motor oil is associated with two forms of rheumatoid arthritis. This confirms results from previous tests performed on rats.
This is only one of several odd-seeming apparent risk factors for RA; others include having a blood transfusion, eating large amounts of red meat, and having a well in your garden.
Although exposure like this sounds odd and perhaps amusing, I can assure you--based on my experience treating more than 3,000 patients over the past 15 years--RA is indeed a devastating autoimmune disease that can destroy your health with crippling torturous pain.
My RA Protocol, which I developed over the last 15 years, is based on the ground-breaking work of renegade pioneer Dr. Thomas McPherson Brown, who uses antibiotics to treat the mycoplasma infection he believed to be a major factor in this illness.
This method has been proven scientifically with double-blind, placebo-controlled, randomized trials in some of the largest and most prestigious medical centers in the world. Dr. Brown helped over 10,000 RA patients during his career.
I have used my revision of Dr. Brown's protocol for over a decade. My revision of his work includes three major breakthroughs:
One other warning: Although I do write prescriptions occasionally, you should always avoid taking any interferon drugs, as they are loaded with severe side effects that can cause far more harm than good.
