In one study from the Journal of the American Medical Association, researchers found a suboptimal diet was culpable in developing cardiometabolic diseases. Good food identified in the study to reduce the risk of cardiometabolic diseases included fruit, vegetables, nuts and seeds, seafood and red meat.
