Hi Randal! My hubby’s name is Randal also! We had a website developed about two years ago, and we get many calls from this. When the “C” hit, we decided to move 20 miles south to the 10 acres we purchased. We are getting the large barn built to accommodate our two sawmills and the inventory. But we’re not sure if we want to continue the live edge planks, or mill into more practical lumber as here in Texas there is a building boom and lumber prices have soared. We are focused on “surviving” in the event that “the jab” would be required in order to engage in commerce, ie, grocery stores, etc... So, currently, our business is on hold tho still the website generates many inquiries....not sure how to move forward. And like you, we only harvest fallen trees or tree cutters will call us if they have hardwoods that are especially large. We have a white oak that is 67” in diameter!! It’s a beauty and our largest. It’s been slabbed but not yet on our website. https://texasliveedgeslabwood.com/species/white-oak/

Thank you for the positive respnse. Florida does not have much volcanic activity. Mostly limestone. Where does the flint come from? I very well remember walking in a dry creek bed in Sonoma County 1951. I turned over a rock and there was a perfiect arrowhead.sitting on top of the cream colored sand. I was absolutely surprised. I found a few more. A treasure not many had. I think that not only our brains but our bipedalism evolved along the shore. Bipedalism is good for running and hunting as cescribed in the article but it is also good for wading and collecting in tide pools. In the Bay Area there are many "Shell Mounds". I say why run and confront a large animal like an eland that could kill you when you can collect sea shells by the sea shore? Call me a coward but I say smart and lazy.. I would rather stay in camp and play with the children and help the ladies make shell necklaces or make wampum belts.

Forbidden Healing, I read your paragraph above referring to Vitamin C and wonder if you would comment on your best ideas for healing an open wound (inside of ankle) on a 67 year old woman who had radiation treatments a number of years ago for melanoma. The wound re-opened and though her doctors have tried HBO for many weeks and now I believe are using a suction device to hold a graft from her groin area. They also used maggots. The wound is not closing, and I fear an amputation is about to be advised. I sent her portions of your comments. Is this a matter of stimulating the mitochondria in the cells just beyond the dead cells? I deeply appreciate anything you may offer. Martha (eidoog8)
