I'm not sure if you remember but a while back (November I think) you left a comment for me about the use of whey instead of using veggie culture starters to inoculate veggies for lacto-fermentation. I use whey because it is readily available (can be made from straining yogurt through a dish towel overnight), and because it is much cheaper to do that way. The veggie culture might provide a more complete bacterial culture (I'm not sure but just guessing), but I use the whey to simply inoculate the beneficial bacteria that is naturally present on whatever vegetable I'm using. It works quite nicely - and it's been working for hundreds of years this way!

You know, I had tried CS before too; but not knowing how to take it, or what was safe to take, nothing happened.
My symptoms were bizarre: within a fairly short time after eating, but sometimes more like 12 hours, I would get both psychiatric and physical symptoms. The psychiatric ones were a feeling of frustration so intense that the urge was to continually beat on anything handy with a baseball bat. It had nothing to do with anything that was going on around me; it came from inside. The physical manifestation started out as what appeared to be "restless legs syndrome." But over a period of a couple of years, it worsened to where I had a full-body jerk, somewhat like a hiccup but full body, every four seconds around the clock. I had to go on anti-seizure medication, and no doctor I consulted had the slightest clue. All my tests were "normal."
Over time I took matters into my own hands and started doing food elminations, which is how I found out the protein connection. However, eliminated foods lessened the symptoms but did not "cure" anything.
The symptoms were due to the Rouleau; the Rouleau was due to the underlying infection. Using the CS to treat the infection lessened the Rouleau to the point where I can eat protein again. I still have the physical manifestation but not the psychiatric one; however, I am not "done" with the CS yet as I will continue to take it until I can no longer cause a Herx reaction. At that point I will know I have killed off whatever the CS can kill off, and then if necessary I will start looking at what I can find to continue getting better.
Dairy is the usual suspect in anything that involves mucus formation; nightshades are suspect in anything that causes joint pain. Gluten is suspect in a wide variety of problems including brain fog and intestinal problems.
However, if the body is bogged down with a chornic infection, you may be reacting to things you would not react to if the infection were cured. For a long time I thought I was celiac because eating gluten caused intense flatulence as well as other problems. But since doing the CS eating gluten does not cause those problems, meaning I was not celiac but just appeared that way. Frankly, dairy still is causing me some sinus congestion but right now I just don't give a damn because it is SO much better than just a couple months ago.

This fellow is an engineer who researched what causes Argyria (turning blue) and determined that it is caused by a too-large particle size (of the silver) that gets stuck in the capillaries and cannot be removed by any process we know. By using low voltage (only two AA batteries) the particle size is so small that it cannot get stuck, and therefore does not ever turn you blue no matter how much of it you ingest. I know someone who has ingested a quart of colloidal silver made with this generator, for a period of months, and she has not turned blue. So based on my observations, I'm willing to believe what he says (I also am an engineer.)
If you contact the person whose web site url is above, he may be willing to give you information; he's the one who helped me. He is *extremely* knowledgable. However, his is a research organization, not a medical facility, and I agreed to be a research subject. It isn't "double blind" type research....just research to see what works.
If I had wanted to buy commercial colloidal silver, he recommended the brand mesosilver. He doesn't sell it himself.
I still have one food reaction that clearly is a true allergy....corn still gives me hives. The other problems were due to protein, so this is different and I figure just staying away from corn is not that difficult compared to staying away from all animal products, all gluten, all nightshades, and most legumes, as well as corn. I mean...this is freedom!
